I agree with you. I realized this yesterday, which is why I would like to modify my idea a little. #1 The whole mandolorian army wore mandolorian armor, and if this were translated into SWG, they could not have been the same proffesion. #2 Because of the amount of work involved I would like to add that mandolorian armor should have no species requirements, and be classified as new armor type to be added to game later in time(I would hope)maybe(this would cover no species requirementsand nogender requirementstoo) One size fits all. One size fits all would be new armor type added to game that certain armors would be put under, and would be classified as anyone can wear it, no matter proffesion, gender, or species.

Sorry to say it but I HIGHLY doubt that the Devs would go out of their way to make mandalorian so special. Doing what you say to mando armor would be completelywrong with how the system works. The certs for it should stay the way it is and so should the species requirements also. No offense butseeing an Ithorian with mandalorian would just look kinda weird and I think it would be impossible. Or a wook with mando armor would work. A mon cal with a mando helmet would look kinda strange also.

SorryTo make mandalorian a unique armor class that can be universal to professions and speices makes no sense with the combat upgrade, I'm sorry but I think the current way to get it is fine. Just make lots of money, get some friends and guildmates you can trust, and just work together to achieve the same goal.
1)In your guild try to find as many people as possible who want to get their own set of mando armor.
2)Get together and make a plan like this-
Him,him, her, and himwill all go to Dathomir and they will look for black sun spawns.
Me, her, him, and him will go to yavin and look for spawns there.
Her, him, him, and him will go to endor and look for black sun spawns there.
3) Once there are enough pieces to go around for everyone and you even have a few extra plan for a trip
to the DWB( find jedi to go with you!!!). Find a trustworthy Droid Engineer, Armorsmith, and Tailor. I think those are right.
4) After a a lot of trips down there you will have the schematics which you can give to anyAS/DE/Tailor
you desire. AND TRUST
5) There you go, if you want to wear it just make sure you have the requirements, OR if you can't just put it as a decoration in your house and put a sign up that sais " I GOT MANDO INSIDE!!" make an entrance fee (not very high) and people will flock to see it.

Its harder to get Mandolorian armor then to become a Jedi. Isnt that lame ??
If they can all wear robes and look the part of a Jedi, then why the hell can't BH's get the look too and get us some Boba Fett armor ??

Because mandalorian armor isnt bounty hunter armor its actually commando armor. I think theres a thread about the mandalorians somewhere but they werent really bounty hunters. It's just that Boba and Jango happen to be bounty hunters in the movies. The mandalorians were known as super commmandos.
