that's missing the point. It's not the fact that they afk, its the fact that they are afk in an area where droids can't find them and an exploit exists to shield them. Therefore its different for jedi because they are suppose to be hunted and instead alot of them hide on kashyyyk afk and or use an exploit to be unattackable.

Not an exploit.

Jesus you people really need to get a damned dictionary and start looking up all these big words you think you know how to use.

They are referring to the Line of Sight exploit.

yes but you can't be afk to fight and use the los exploit...just not possible.

yes I am and I have gotten many confirmations from CSR's stating that it is an exploit.

for instance, here was what the last CSR said. I understand that (Jedi's name) is exploiting.

and 2nd for those of you who think that this never stopped, it did. The devs made the wooks elite and made them hit harder with better armor. Also they made it so DJM lvl 50000000.....spawned there randomly to clean up all the afking jedi lol. If you don't believe me ask someone who grinded there during the change.

and 3rd, I'm not calling nerfs on anyone, and it woulnd't make sense for me to do so anyway as I have a Jedi and a BH. All I am saying is that if a jedi can hide on a planet where droids can't find them, that obviously takes content away from BHs which is bad enough. What's worse is that it is possible to afk this and exploit this so that all you have to do is walk 3 steps and be invulnerable to any attacks (Ranged attacks, melee attacks, pet attacks, bomb droids). Its an exploit to do this and if you don't believe me ask a CSR.

Y'know, CSR's have been saying lots of silly crap in the past. One told a Jedi the reason his vis was bugged was because of his video card drivers.

However the holo's specifically stated there is no exploit inherent in afk grinding. 3rd party macros, sure. In game tools. No way.

lol. well hearing this from over 15 CSRs is different, and I don't mean afk grinding I mean the LOS is an exploit. The Afk grinding is just something the devs want to remove from the game as much as possible. If Bhs droids worked on Kashyyyk and they had no instant safehouse 3 feet from them at all times no one would care if they afk'd it.

My point is this, in a few weeks time the afkers will be showing off at a starport near you with their glow sticks out. They'll gain vis, and they'll get a visit off a BH or 2. Then when the die, because they don't know how to play the profession, they'll be in the Jedi forum screaming nerf the BH's/CM's/RM's/SL's. Thats MY point.

This is always an amusing point. Do you honestly think that spin group PVE has anything to do with learning a template? Your logic is flawed, the only way these Jedi will learn their templates no matter how they grind is simple experience with bh encounters. And that arguement's basis has too often in the last 6 months worked the other way around. SO please tighten up your argument and use something other than a logical fallacy to make your point.

I thought they fixed the LOS in Ryatt a few publishes ago, or is it back again? Wouldn't surprise me, they fix one bug and (re-)introduce two new ones.

Exactly. If they're AFK, there's no exploiting going on. If they use the LOS, then they're not AFK MACROING. They're simply using an LOS exploit which has NOTHING TO DO WITH AFK MACROING.

They did on the bottom part of the trails, but not around wookville.

Right so AFK'ing on the trails where basically you can't be tracked unless the BH wanders through all the instances looking for you gives you just as much PVP experience as being on one of the normal planets where there is a chance of a BH encounter?

As you stated the only way they get experience is encounters with a BH. Hiding on a planet droids don't work lessens the chance of that doesn't it?

As for the text in orange please elaborate.

Oh and i point to my post above, alot of Jedi nerfs are due to some of your brethren abusing the skills given to them...

I wouldnt say a lot. There are some but most are due to game balancing such as it is when it comes from SOE.If you think otherwise please list nerfs that were caused by jedi so we can discuss amongst ourselves

As I stated read my post above the post you quoted, i listed one. Weren't the PvP rules for the GCW changed because of Jedi ganking members of the opposite faction for FRS points?

Actually there's a better chance they'll have to deal with BH's one way or another by AFKing on the trails.

AFKing on the trails gives vis. If it's done right, a Dant spin group does not.

Without vis, a Jedi won't have to deal with a BH. So, since AFKing gives vis and Spinning does not (if it's done right) then the chances of having a BH encounter are greater by AFKing it.
