When using cover don't spam the conceal shot, I can hit the mob always at least 3 times before I hop up and start shooting away. Hit conceal shot, wait a bit, then repeat, also make sure you are 65m away or whatever your range is.

Knee Cap Shot sucks never has worked very well. Really depends on the rest of your template. I am also MPistols for root, and have enough carbines to have a really nice snare and knock down. With that combo I can pretty much keep anything far enough away to rarely ever get hit.

what is your template then i can tell you how to hunt better?

I use conceal two times then I use sniper shot and then run and shoot. A good temp for soloing is MBH/MR/ 4000 CM Plus you get to wear assalt armor with 7000 kinetic.

Try where ever possible to be 65m from the mob before you start attacking, further if you have a cyber arm.

I am averaging 4 conceal shots before I get discovered with a +5m cyber arm.

Against npc's I quite often get 5 conceal shots off before they get to 20m from me and /cover drops.

Once they are on top of me, I alternate headshot and placed shot.

I stay prone all the time as it is my perception that I miss less when prone.

I was able to solo the 18 Gotal Hunters (CL82, occasional CL80) I needed for the Rryatt Trail Mastery quest this way.

ooh, i'm on SF we're in phase 3. sorry. Just a tought, the crate of supplies in your inventory have you tried deleting them and getting a new wp?
