OMFG ! Not another I couldn't collect my bounty , please nerf cloak post. You guys aren't gonna be happy until they nerf the f*$k out of us and Jedi. You win some, you lose some, some run, and some fight. I know most Jedi with cloak have horrible defenses, and some have good defenses, and some just know how to pvp. It's very clear you caught one with low defenses and you thought, easy kill, until he ran and cloaked on you. All of you need to realize because it happens to you doesn't mean they need to fix it. And it goes for any Jedi that read this also, believe me your FOTM (defenders) cry and whine bloody murder when someone cloaks in pvp. So keep it up with the crying. Plenty of bh out their got 100+ kills on Jedi, and they don't whine like this.

Devs are doing a great job, they're not ruining the game, we are !

Another jedi who cannot read... no where did I say nerf.

I said give BH an option not to hunt cloakers and only cloakers..

Cloakers are a "incomplete mission" to be honest I would rather lose a good duel then this.

But what let me guess... You are a jedi that needs cloak... so that when an BH who is learning comes and you can beat them you do (then think wow i am awwesome)... But when an experienced one comes you can tuck tail and run...

Not to mentio that jedi that go overt.. the cloak next to recruiter.. and wait for anyone to go SF then first strike kill them.... and these are not even BH they kill, I have seen 3 smugglers killed this way simply trying to buy faction..

this is jedi ruining the game for many professions

Does sound like something the Dev's would do.

My Master powers template would be shafted if they do as it really relies on the hit and run tactics that cloak provides.

It's basically the only advantage I have as My damage is no where near as good as MLS and all our attacks are self rooting.

It would make most of the Jedi out there MLS/MDEF or MLS/menh with enhancer just about having the same hit and run tactics that a Master Powers Jedi had.

I do agree to some extant that they should switch Cloak and Force breach around but changing it so you can't cloak while in combat will put the final nail in the coffin for alot of Powers Jedi.

First of all I'm a BH with 100+ kills and I've dealt with cloakers before, and I still got over 100kills. You don't see me complaining about cloakers here do ya ???? NO ! And you won't, because i dealt with it, and moved on. I've killed cloakers, defenders, etc, etc, etc. Most of the people who complain about cloakers just can't find tactics to defeat them. It's nothing wrong with cloak, lol. But like I said , keep it up, I don't care if they nerf us into the middle of next week. And yes , I mentioned nerf because NERFING US, is the end result of anyone complaining around here.

How ya like them apples !

Somebody else said that a cloaked jedi shouldn't be able to talk or interface with terminals. Well...I agree about the talking. talking in spatial should break cloak, but about the rest...that's a bunch of bull. Now I'm not going for a comparison of the movies in the sense of how many jedi or what, cause this is a game and it can't match the timeline...not possible. However, abilities are inspired and are supposed to reflect the ones in the movies. Speed, Force Lightning, etc. Obiwan used cloak in the movies and was able to interface with terminals. A cloaked jedi should be able to walk around and actually do things. He's using the force to tell your mind that he's not really there. He hasn't turned himself into some unstubstantial astral projection. Yor thinking of the wrong game.

I guess you refer to my remark concerning that cloaked access to terminals and loot boxes should not be possible.
The idea behind it is that currently cloakers can enter what is designed as high-risk loot zone and loot all containers and boxes without having to fight their way to the boxes, giving them an unbalancing advantage in loot hunting over other players. Cloak being used in combat in its current state is fine, Cloak being used for risk-free loot farming is not. This is why I thing opening boxes should uncloak the Jedi.

Not risk free looting at all. You seem to speak from lack of knowledge. A high risk loot area is usually full of creatures and NPC's. Using cloak in that environment burn force VERY fast. If cloak is broken, you are in the middle of a bad situation without much to fall back on. Even so, they usually can't fight high level mobs too well, the cloak is the alternative. Its perfectly balance. Like Obiwan said "There are alternatives to fighting". Combat oriented players don't have a lock on loot in the game. Its perfectly balanced. You gain stealth for a decrease in offensive and defensive power. Its a different way to play, not a better, or worse for that matter, way to play. If you think Cloakers have it so easy, do the grind and go play one.

No I'm not. I never said that a jedi can't KD you and run. I said if a Jedi doesn't have FR2 or 3 then you shouldn't have trouble staying withing 20 meters of him. If a Jedi has FR3 and cloak, you will only kill him when he's afk or not paying attention. This is perfectly balanced in the game since that jedi gave up a lot of defensive and offensive ability to have that means of escape. He would have a hard time killing you. He's stealthy and fast but not strong.

Please read up on the DWB campers - they go in with a group to open a few doors and then can stay cloaked all day, looting the boxes without risk. I know how cloak works

Ya using being cloaked and using terminals isnt good at all. I had been working a base takedown when the base NPCs would suddenly start acting weird and then the count down would be aborted. That isnt right. Being able to work terms, and in the case of the lootcampers the cave containers is jus another muck up that the DEVs didnt forsee. For a time i thought that using the Starship terminal or the Ticket Collector was exploiting.

Loot campers have been around for a long time, since before the first Jedi unlocked. Remember the days of the cystal Valley caves and holos, that nobody could get unless there where MCH or overt Imps wiuth AT's...Or the Krayt graveyard, where I spend 40 minutes working a Dragon then some group of 20 shows up and finishes him off outdamaging me in one minute and they get the loot. Maybe that's not right either. You just don't like how one class can do something you can't. Well I don't like the fact that jedi can't hunt BH's...there...nah. Jeez...you guys need to take off the blinders. Every class is gonna be better at something than others. In the movies Jedi work terminal while cloaked. I didn't see Tarkin and Vader stmping their feet and screaming "UNFAIR....NERF!"

Who says I cant do it?
My statement is that acquiring high-level loot without having to take the risks that are designed to be going along with looting said loot should not be possible. Nor should it be possible to start or stop countdowns on PvP bases without having to engage in PvP if attacking or defending SF players are around.
