If player bounties on smugglers ever occur smugglers will need a revamp first to balance them and give them appropriate abilities. Presently they are merely glorified drug pushers with a few strange abilities thrown in. Also, however it is that they end up on the terminals should be voluntary, such as taking particular high-reward/high-risk missions with crime syndicates.

The biggest problem isn't the concept though. The concept makes more sense then Jedi being hunted by BH's, something that never occurred or was hinted at over the course of six movies. The biggest problem to this, and something that will be the source of numerous complaints if it were to happen in the current system as it exists, is BH first strke. BH first strike has long been positioned as the equalizing force that makes a BH able to put down a player who is, supposedly, 1.5 times more powerful, something that both BH's and the devs haveargued. How will this be justified against a player who is supposed to be only equally powerful as a BH, and perhaps not even that? The way smuggler is positioned in the game is that it is frequently selected as a crafters counterpart so that there are players who are either weaponsmith/smuggler or armorsmith/smuggler. Are these players meant to be surprise attacked by a BH/Rifle/CM?

Smugglers need ALOT of attention before this comes to pass.

Crossing my Fingers on a Master Bounty Hunter Quest and maybe having to cash in 30k Investigation XP to complete it

I'm not getting m y hopes up for this "miracle" called publish 21. With the track record the devs have going for them it will be bugged to hell and the only response we will get is "Working as intended". I for one was excited at first about other player bounties but now I am totally against them. Seriously, think about it... do we really want another player class whining and crying cuz they can't pvp which results in more BH nerfs.

Of course, it doesn't take all that long to jump to the Kashyyk System and fly in to the starport to land in the first place... We'll see.

If they do that, then it is rather simple for me. It means I will no longer pull Jedi missions. I am quite happy with only NPCs for quick cash. I am NOT going to be FRS fodder for the Jedi.

My goldfish told me that he heard from someone this:

-BH are getting weapon which kill's everything in same server cluster with 1 shot and they will get payed 1 Billion for that. Only Master BH can buy this weapon and it will cost 1cr.

Shall we wait until pub21 hits the server, or we can wait for official documentation of this game....or not.
