Maybe someone can help me, and this has probably been posted before, but

what is the purpose of collecting badges?

And

What badges are there other than intellingence/intellect, altruism, courage, and the story badge?

and where is that freaking hermit??

Aye, so far there is the mark of intellect badge and the badge of altruism both confirmed. They are both obtained in the Tatooine desert north of Mos Eisely. I don't have the exact coords, but I can tell you how to obtain them.

someone want to make a complete list of all badges, their start points (for those that are known and not random) and any complete info they can scrape up? Ive been scouring the guides looking for this but finding scraps, rumours, flames and well no real, clear, conicse info.

Since most people will probabtly flame you til you run from these boards...I will tell you all I know...

4 Badges that are suspected to have anything to do with the force sensitive slot:

Honor

Intellect

Courage

Altruism

How you get them youll have to spend more time on the boards lookin for threads with potential wps (no one knows where it will appear every time).

Ohhh lets see what I can remember

Act I badge (Dead-Eye): Can no longer obtain unless you get the discs off of someone.
Act II badge: Talk to the appropriate factional recruiter. You must be a member of that faction
Intellect-Heroism (5 badges): Talk to a random hermit spawn in the tatooine desert.
The Warren (not sure of name): Don't have WP yet
Accolade: Given randomly by the CSRs for having an exceptional profile.

I've heard a rumor there is a badge for having 5 badges as well.

My char. already has the two badges from Cries of Alderan, as well as the two badges from the Warren, and now im thirsty for more. Can anyone please tell me how to get the mark of intellect (i belive thats what its called)? I have also heard that there are other "marks"... something along the lines of Bravery, or streingth of something like that, how could I get thoes? Someone told me that there were NPC's north of Mos Eisly that gave you hard missions in order to get these badges.Is that true? Any input would be nice.
