my sabre is 699 max dmg and i hoarded pearls pre cu it is almost perfect sabre with 10 points experiment sac is 95 (cap for sabres) now if someone used there points in dmg wich most post cu jedi would have to do to get even 600 dmg they are gonna end up with how much sac? 120
most post cu jedi i have come across have sabres in the range of 350-500 dmg i would guestimate there are maybe30 sabres tops on my server that can compare to the stats of mine so comparing a high end sabre that a select few have to a quest reward anybody can get is kinda silly
also when i got access to the avatar i recieved a quest reward trando rifle with absolute **edit** stats
low and behold i gathered the ingredients and my friendly ws made me one in the 1181 max dmg range with 85 sac and 2.3 speed
i would assume that the recipe cube may spit out schematics to make these weapons through crafters and that the quest rewards are just basically trophys
and before ya flame me for arguing the jedi side shove somethin in your mouth first cause i been argueing my point as a mbh for the past month in the jedi forums and i really couldnt give 2 **edit**s abought getting flamed
and you really think max dmg matters in pvp?
EDIT also its not impossible for a postcu jedi to get a phenomenal saber, just a bit harder. multiple postcu on my server have max over 650 that i can think of off the top of my head...having a good saber really depends how much money you have.

Let's bet they will have DP23 rifle schematic.
What we had on test center was blue frog weapons : not to be considered as what we would have on live ! (thoses were sac and damage capped)
All three Disruptor Weapons suck too... SFOF Rep Carbine, Disruptor Rifle and Disruptor Pistol
Plus that 2nd Disruptor Pistol has horrible SAC

I was looking forward to getting this item more than any other item in this expansion. To be dissapointed and find it to be nothing more than a wall decoration. Unslicable and unable to be pup'ed. SOE plz explain this.

Wow, It's another jedi trolling the BH forums! And she forgets how valuable Armor break is for jedi... god these ppl piss me off.
Jedi sabers also have elemental damage, high elemental damage which most jedi do not take into account. And if i dont recall i cannot use a 1500 heal, and then 2 stims all at once. No only jedi can do that. I dont have an armor that increases my damage 10 fold. Go troll elsewhere jedi

Is it just me or the trandoshan rifle is better than this.
How is the quest difficulty compared to the trando quest (which can be soloed by a cl80 tier 3-4 pilot)

It's certainly an increase in power if we get the schematic for it.

Not everything given as a quest reward will be a /pwnbbqjedionastick . Easy quests give lower quality items than harder quests or harder Boss's. When the Mustafar team asked for weaponry we gave them something like 5 - 8 versions of each weapon. Some will be better than others. I would guess anything that comes out so soon after the expansion opens isnt from the harder quests nor the big boss kills.
Judging stats from Frog testing weapons isn't a very good indication as all Frog weapons are set to exceed max stats in every way that a could never be made/looted.
