Jedi NPC's on dathomir (imperial prison I believe). And yes, it will help very much up until a certain point. Above 200 combined speed and you wont notice much at all.

I believe those skills add like what, +20 or so speed? Every bit will help even at the master level.

ok i am a MBH/Mpistols with FS speed and accuracy. i havve 136 speed with tapes and such.
The modded speed for my pistol is 1.04 (or there abouts) but when i have ranged shot on auto attack i can only fire it once every 2 seconds. (according to the combat log) I realize the combat log rounds seconds but i'd assume 1.04 is alot closer to 1 than it is to 2. any idea?

1) Did you unequipp and requipp your gun after shuttling/logging in? It appears as if it won't use modified speed unless you do.

2) It's possible that ranged shot caps at a 2 second cooldown, but I'm not sure. Try the above first and see what happends.

Speed buffs modify combat speed by 10 points, i am thinking of dropping doc xxx4 and putting that elsewere, my question, if i were to geta +10 polearm speed tape, would i get the same result(in other words same speed)? If not +10, how much do you think could match the speed buff?

nope. speed mods and speed skill tapes are different than adrenal boost. the tapes/mods affect your attack speed which is on a sliding scale. For example, if you have +90 polearm speed and get a +10 tape, you will have a total of +100 speed but your actual speed will only go down by about 2/10th of a second. if your speed is say +115 and you add a +10 tape, you may only see your speed go down by 1/10th.

adrenal boost, however, affects your universal cooldown timers for all of your actions, and is a base buff entirely of itself,which means nodiminishing returns. so a +10 there is much better than +10 in tapes.
