Im doing the third template exactly, and so far I love it. But you have to choose something to your style. I like to tank and Avoid Incap is something I really want. You still get to use your saber and deal pretty good damage. You have ranged, you have root, you can take a hit and you can channel or meditate. Like I said though thats what I like.

Hi, Ive recently returned to the world of Swg

and ive decided i want to walk the path of a Bounty Hunter

The problem is im not sure what other proffesions / skills to combine with Bounty Hunter.

I want to have fun with the BH but i also want a strong build that will make me difficult to kill but still be able to deal out decent damage.

Could some of you advanced BH's please give me some good combinations that go with BH and why they are good.

Welcome Back, and to answer your question MBH/MCM/Carbine0400 with energy layerd battle armor giving 7000 energy protection, have a smugler do the 75% armor break reduction on the armor. Get carbine speed and general ranged speed tapes. Get a nice carbine and do 100% customization to speed slice. Get enhancers for your fire and poison dots aswell as enhancers for your cm debuffs. For foods use booster blue, spiced tea, and blob candy. Get burst run food for when they run (and they will run). With this build and allot of practice youll be soloing Knights in no time.

Ragen wouldnt rifles be better because of their range? and if not could u say what makes carbines better please

Currently I am a MBH/MR / Medic 0/3/0/0 with the rest of my sp invested in having a vendor, now what I would want to do is continue being a rifleman but I want a combination of professions so I may where my Katarn Armor and continue using my rifle. I will take any advice on a good overall template, mBH does not have to be involved. I am looking on the lines of an over all shoot stuff soldier template that can hold his own in battle. Really I just want to wear my Katarn Armor while still using a awesome Rifle. Thanks in advance!

Battle eh? I'd check into carbineer......hardest hitting spec. attacks currently. You may also want to get master cm and then dabble in carbineer.
