you have to do the quests to "unlock", and be able to train, the particular branch of fs you want. You can dump 5 million xp into the reflexes line, but until you do the quests, you can't train anything in reflexes.

yes you actually have to do the quests or you do not unlock any Force Sensitive Tree Branches. Look at the stickies on top of this forum to plan out your Force Sensitive template. It'll take you a minimum of 18 weeks to unlock all of the tree branches you'll need to become a padawan. This is because you can only take one quest per phase. But you can grind out the exp all along the way too and exchange it for the type of Force Experience you'll need. That way when you unlock a tree you can start training right away.

how long did it take you to become a jedi and is it hard. Because I might be one and is there such thing as a silver light saber?

it takes 18 weeks to get through the gated force-village system, once you become "glowy with the force", then you can start your padawan trials.
Getting jedi is easy, being one is not. We are the hard mode of the game, and are hunted by other players. When we die to them, we lose 30 minutes or even hours of work of experience points, depending how long it takes you to grind it back.

It took me 1yr and 2 months to unlock. I did both the Holo-grinding of professions and the village quest. It then took me another 11 months to finally finish my temp (finished it last week). I'm not sure how hard new Padawans have it because by the time CU hit, I already had 1 mastery. Silver lightsaber? I haven't seen or heard of anything like that.

Been grinding jedi since Feb '04, unlocked in November and still not fully templated yet.

You shouldnt worry about being a jedi yet ur so new there is so much more you should do before grinding a jedi.

about that silver saber, there is a white, named, coulor crystal (like banes heart and sunriders destiny) and that will give you a while light saber, assuming they will ever add it.

wow that white lightsaber looks cool and that other guy was right about me being new...I haven't even played the game I got to buy more memory and a vidio card so I can acutuly play and go suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper slow.
