No. Both of them were made with regular materials... nothing fancy. They do require a lot of materials according to the weaponsmith. More than a T-21.

I must be missing something... the weapon doesn't look all that great.
Well for starters I'm not sure if that base DPS includes the 103 elemental damage or not.
But also keep in mind that this is a 290 DPS weapon with crappy resources. If good resources are used, it might be on par with a T21
Basically it just means that MBH now have certification for a rifle with (hopefully) cool combat animations
I hope they are REALLY crappy resources because that SAC is insane.
SAC on this could be around 100 with a powerup... Just like all ligthsabers... To put it in your words, that is insane

For anyone on TC with one of these, can you post some screen shots? Unless it has the same art as the LLC, but from the sound of it this is a totally different weapon.
It has the same art, but a different firing graphic. The stats on this weapon were adjusted with Friday's TC update. Elemental damage was reduced and the overall damage was reduced. Sorry I don't have the numbers on that. I asked a WS to make a new one on Friday and he compared it to one he had made the day before. I'm unsure if the SAC was reduced. Hopefully it is, since the SAC before looked like a heavy weapon (as did the elemental damage).

Oh, okay. Thanks for clearing that up. They reduced the damage? It didn't seem too high in the first place. Hope to god they do fix the SAC.

Getting nerfed before it even hits the market, that's not good. Hope it is still something we can use once in a while as it adds a unique feel to bounty hunter.

Looks promising, but I still love my Assault Bowcasters that have 1450ish Max damage with base 340ish Dps =P. Still will be interesting.

It's NOT a nerf unless it's changed on a LIVE server. Anything before that is considered a "fix". This is the purpose of the TC. It's one thing to tweak a weapon (to where you want it) before you give it to thousands (if there are that many MBHs) of players, THEN change the stats. It's another to hand it to them and KNOW you will not mess with that weapon again. Besides, although the stats may have been lowered....I have a feeling it was to take into consideration the NEW slicing methods, as well as PUPs. Althought the SAC is high, and it is slow....if "taken care of"....it sounds like this might be worth something.
If the graphics and sounds are different then the old versions, I think it will be cool to have a weapon that a MBH can call it's own. Kind of like everytime you hear that damn lightsaber "swoosh" and you wish you were closer to a BH terminal.

The graphics are very cool. I like them a lot. I just wish I had rifle skills on my bh's so that I could use the heavy lightning rifle as a primary weapon, but I'm not giving up my carbines for it. I'm not sure why the damage was lowered, but I didn't have a weaponsmith make one with krayt tissues and such to see what kind of high damage numbers could be squeezed out of it.
