There should be alternatives to becoming jedi, there should be more than one alpha class, but as for BH's becoming Madalorian, i don'tthink that's the way to go, an elite BH clan or something yes, but not Madalorian and Mandalorian armour (as much is i would like a set) should remain as it is.
And as for the Thermal Detonators.... No, for a start, they suck because they were nerfed due to FS power grinding. Secondly, commandos have a broken and weak profession, you really want to take something else away from them? BHs and Smugglers get bomb droids, Commandos don't, despite havingan explosive tree, soIf you want to use grenades, pick up some commando.
BH works pretty well for me atm, i'd suggest let some other proffs getsome lovingbefore calling for a revamp.... after all, we don't want to sound too much like jedi, do we?
While this concept sounds nice it doenst really make any sense according to the story line of SWG. As stated before the mandolorians did not really have any direct connection to Jedi nor BH for that matter. It just so happened that the best BH in the galaxey (Fett) has mandolorian blood in him. The second best was a droid. If you wanted to push a "race" that was at odds with Jedi it would have to be Teras Kasi not mandolorians. This would make more sense anyway.
But really good ideas though...
I do like the first 4 or so ideas which you posted.
But I don't like the idea of becoming a Mandalorian.
I mean therewere no Twi'leks running saying there were Mandalorian when they were common 4k years ago (in the starwars Universe) and with your idea that is what would happen which would do nothing buttake away fromthe respect and image that the Mandalorian race has recieved through other games (such as KotOR and KotOR 2).
However I do believe that if they do bring back the FRS there should be a counter system for BHs where we gain when we kill Jedi.
But other classes do have to be fixed first or all it will really cause is for this game to be renamed. SWG Jedi vs BH.
