Tiggs said it is from initial login to CU... but if that is for your whole account or toon specific i don't know

I just have logged on in the last couple of days for the first time since the CU and am lost. I tried respecing one of my characters who was a BH 3040, MPistoleer, Smuggler 0040. Now when I try and respec to MBH, MCarbs, etc it says I don't have enough ELITE points, although I do have regular points left. Is this due to my combat level or something else? I've seen many spots where people respecd to MBH, Carbs and another profession with points to spare. Can someone point me in the right direction on the respec rules?

Hey guys,
I have been gone since November. I am coming back to try the game again (even though my -120k jedi experience sucks) . I have a question about the respeccing. I have 66 points in jedi tree to respecc and i am wondering where they would be best spent. I have looked thru for similar threads but quit digging after a while.
Also, what is a good support specc for my main character after CU. Thanks a ton in advance.

After I respeced the first time, just for kicks, I tried to do it again. It said I couldn't and that I had to wait another 12 hours.
They didn't say anything other than "you won't be able to respec after you log out." What if I stayed on for 12 more hours and respeced again. Would it work?

On the respec screen look to the left side and see if theres red text saying u can use respec just nor actualy commint changes

Hey everyone, i have 9 respec jedi points that i can use for skills. my current temp is saber 0/3/0/0, enhancer 0/0/0/3,Novice Healer,Novice Defender, and Novice Powers. Was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions on whatI should use them on? i was thinking maybe Healer 2/0/0/0, or Healer 0/0/2/0 for Sap, I could use some suggestions, can ya help me out?

Personally, I would get sabers x4xx for armor break alone, even if it may be borked, can't remember. I think it works?

If you are trying to level your jedi up, you need AE attack first, then you need to worry about being able to get away from BHs...then you need to do waht you want to do with your template. My advice is first fill all your novice boxes (but don't do that with the respec, because 20k xps is easy to get and spend after the respec) then get 0 0 2 0 LS. From there get force run so you can run from BHs. Then get channel force (one of the best powers for jedi). After that do what you want and create your template from there, later on you can drop the 0 0 2 0 LS and spend the points where you want too, for now though you need a gorup willing to gind with you and you need an AoE attack.

This is a stupid question, but thanks for the help in advance.
I just recently renewed my account a week ago. As areturning player do I get 2 or 3 weeks to respec? 
I've heard 3 weeks from other jedi, but the load screen says 2...hence my confusion

I think it is 2 weeks.
But their will be another respec soon too. You might want to use the renewed account one and try something. Then when you get the other you can fix anything you might have messed up.

Ok, With my 2/4/2/3 marksman (Yes, its a noob character still) I used respec to take out the levels of my musician and dancing thing, and tried putting them in Carbine and the overcharge one, will I forgot to click them twice, so this makes me wonder, will my respec end by the time its 9 pm? because I really want to be a commando and dont want to just waste all that musician skill.
Edit: or should I just become a pistoleer and Teri Kasi artist?

For reasons u can imagine I cancelled my account a few days before the CU. Needless to say i came back and have been given the wonderful opportunity to respec every 12 hours.
I have 220 SP invested in Jedi so far and have played around enough todecidemy final template (MLS, Enh 4xx2, Heal 41xx, Def xx4x, Powers x4xx).
My question is do u think it is worth using another respec before the next patch goes live to get as much Defender as I can to be safe, and then use my Token respec to do my final template?
Also, which lines of Defender would I pick up? I figure I can go 3 full trees in Defender and drop to 2xx2 Enh. Which would end up looking something like...MLS, Enh 2xx2, Heal 4xxx, Defender x444.
Just looking for some input to ease my troubled mind.
