How long do the bounty missions stay on the terminals? And how long can a player hold a bounty mission?

From what I can tell, they are SUPPOSED to be able to carry a bounty mission for 24 hours- but I've been told they never wear off. THIS is something that needs to be fixed.
Though, I can see why they haven't mentioned anything about it. If they wore off in 48 hours, the first /tell you got asking if you wanna buy some cheap pearls, you'd just log off for two days- "no risk".

That's what my impression was. Jedi could just log off for 2 days and then just be automatically safe. It serves the purpose of slowing down their advancement if they don't want to deal with bounties

Does anyone else have this problem after todays patch ? I usally see 3 or 4 missions on the BH term every night (real player Jedi). Its rare not to see one anymore since there are like 30 jedi on our server (prob more). After today I have not seen one Jedi mission..I looked at my friends list & there are 15 Jedi on atm. Did they make it harder for them to get a mission on themselves ? I figured with the new Jedi death system there would be assloads of missions but I havent seen one ALL DAY ! Anyone ??

You were accustomed to seeing a list filled with non-Jedi missions that looked like they were actually Jedi missions. I checked on my server and saw missions listed for 2 known Jedi (well, at least one of them was known to me and the other showed up when I tried /addfriend).

i doubt it. draxel has killed tons of jedi on kettmoor, he knows what hes doing.
he spends all day staring at those terminals. he takes "jedi-hunting without droids" to the next level.

same here, only it was always the same person, Ethen Starseeker, so i doubt its actually a jedi mission

That may be so, but today I've actually seen real Jedi names on the terminal and none of the other crap that has been cluttering the list for the past 6 weeks. During that previous 6 weeks every 150k bounty mission I've clicked on to get the details has been a bogus name. It appears to be working correctly on Intrepid, although in the last hour or so I haven't seen any Jedi on the terminal.
