Thread: Clothing attachments

Anyone can put a CA on an item of clothing, you just drag and drop the attachment onto the garment.

Remember that they can't be taken off once they're on and there's no message to say "You are about to add a clothing attachment - do you want to continue?". So be very careful to check the mods that the garment already has and also the number of sockets that you've got available to you. Each CA mod takes up a socket - so if your garment has 2 sockets and you tape has 3 mods they won't all stick.

Edited afterthought. There's a really good article explaining this at:

It is not mob specific. Anything dropping SEAs has a chance to drop one with jedi stats.

in your second example you said that adding that first CA will raise your clothing experimention to +5.

Will it add up, so you'll have +8 in total ? or will the +3 gets erased and be replaced by the +5 ?

And another thing: will only skillmods be replaced that were put in that piece of clothing with a CA when they have a lower skill mod than the new CA you put into it, or will also the skillmods be replaced that were in it thanks to tissues ?

thx

BE and SEA mods are one and the same when it comes to clothing

If you drop in a SEA higher then a previous mod {whether SEA or BE} it will not add on, only overwrite

Same goes for a lower one, it will only be overwritten.

If you drop in a SEA wit a skillmod lower than the one already on that piece of clothing, will the higher one become overwritten with the lower one ?

and another thing. If you first equip a +17 healing efficiency skill modded piece of clothing, you'll have that bonus.

But if you equip another +17 healing efficiency skill modded piece of clothing, will it be like you didn't have that second one equiped, because the total of those 2 are higher than +25 ? So that'll leave you with only +17 in the end ?

Or is it like that: if you equip 2 pieces of clothing who both have a +17 bonus on the same skillmod, you'll have a total of +25 ?

thanks
