Facts are being having both toons a jedi and a MBH.. your not controlling a jedi pop or could ever do so a jedi is a jedi doesnt matter if hes -10 mill jedi xp or full temp there still gonna play. and really if ya did ever control the pop then your making peopla leave the game and thats just real macho of ya i must say im impressed...
That kills me i dont want to hunt full temps cause of the cost lol but i like to make low level padawans loose xp well how does it feel you actually have a little to loose now. personally as a BH i wouldnt mind having an XP loss on that toon mabey like lets say having to regrind master lol
your only real complaint is that you wanted a jedi served to ya on a silver platter no effort 5 shots and dead jedi. then instead of moving on you go hit him again like 45 minutes later and over and over till the jedi is -10 mill xp and then justify you actions as pop control. as for takin on a full temp jedi some can be done and some i feel cant be killed by a solo BH but really thats the point of being a BH ive takin down full temps solo and ive died alot but really taking down a knight to this day is a total rush i really feel like i did something as BH and as a BH i never talked trash to jedi i mean you just dont get it its a long grind and alot of crap to go through to be a jedi and a knight should be Uber it shouldnt be a fair fight but thats the challenge of BH makes ya use your brains but i know you have alot of button pushers out there now and wait till the jedi is in a mob fighting before ya attack and thats cool i guess... as a jedi i feel bad for the good BHs i know getting thrown into the same group as these new guys.. and as a BH i feel ashamed by posts like these "i dont want to hunt a full temp jedi"
I remember my 1st BH toon i had 4 MBH toons at one time i hunted jedi on a few servers i guess but i went months and months getting killed then i saw i was loosing agian and again cause i was making the same mistakes over and over.. then aknown MBH on the server told me even if your 200 loses and 1 win vrs a knights its worth it for the rush you feel for killing a knight then it will all sudden make sense to ya and the kills will come after thatits just getting to that point that takes a while... you see your mistake is that you grind MBH in lets say a few weeks and you somehow think you have the right to compete with kinghts and full temp padi's you think jedi is the only long grind thats where ya wrong the longest grind ive done ever was my MBH combos and learing how to compete with the odds agianst me and its a total pain cause you must learn to change and try new things and theres no set formula to fight a jedi only knowledge is your weapon that blaster you have is just for looks!!!!

Then I guess the Dev's REALLY dropped the ball when someone accidentally slipped in that whole "jedi player hunting" thing. Bloops! Also, the Dev's have stated OVER AND OVER that hunting jedi is not "bullying", no matter the level of said jedi (yet as I mentioned, hunting the same one OVER AND OVER is NOT intended). Nope! Pub20 was partly a response to the goofballs who would actually grief by choosing the same jedi OVER AND OVER again. NOT because of the Jedi's skill level.

Can you provide a link to a dev stating that hunting jedi is not bullying? I believe you, but I prefer to read what they state, than someone else's interpretation.And yes, when the CU came out, the devs dropped the ball BIG TIME. You can solo, but it takes 100 times longer to solo than to be in a group, especially to new padawans that need to use their sabers to get the jedi xp. Of course, grouping means that you get visability. The devs, quite obviously, didn't think the CU all the way through.
It's in the HOlocron. I believe I was playing aroudn with the "reporting" mechanism, and that was SPECIFICALLY mentioned.

BH's will have more of an effect than ever on new Jedi's. Last night when I logged in one of our guilds new paddys got whacked. About an hour later, another new paddy down. 30 mins after that I got incapped while surprised on a mission. Luckily got up before the db timer and was able to heal and make a fight of it.
Prior to pub 20 all I saw or heard in guild was the ganking or rare 1 vs. 1 attack. Although I will miss the 2 vs. 1's for the holy chit lvl,last night was a close battle and I have been beaten by non-jedi guild bh's while dueling.
Wouldn't it technically still be possible for two bh's to get the same mission. If you both plucked missions and sent seekers and eventually got the same name? It would be even easier if the jedi is grinding on the less populated planets.
3 or 4 attacks in one night in our small guild is unheard of pre 20. I think this is just starting to heat things up...

it was actually both, and in addition, to stop friendly bh from "shielding" jedi from other bh's, and i'd imagine to prevent bh clubbing for the new frs...anyway, good news all the way around...you guys face a little more risk, ya still don't lose anything, and you got a fair chance at ruining anyone's day...not just those unable to defend themselves.

I do not want to hunt full template jedi for these reasons:
1) MyPERSONAL MISSIONand goal as a Bounty Hunter is to slow the grinding process for padawans and simulataneously slow the jedi population of full templates. Once they are to full temp Jedi, I could care less about them. They have done their time and overcome the challenge of getting to full temp. I respect that.
2) There is no XPLOSS that the full template Jedi truly cares about, mainly because they have already completed their temp and do not grind. Therefore, who cares! No biggie if the Jedi loses, which takes the intensity out of the fight.
3) When I hunted previous to the patch, I would hunt 100K Jedi to 224K Jedi. This kept greatVARIETY in my hunts and was very challenging at times. Now when I hunt, I expect to have one type of fight. A fight with a full temp Jedi (likely Master Saber/Master Defense) that lasts forever and makes me expend great quantities of high priced food/drink/drugs. Dont get me wrong. I like a challenge, but the same exact challenge each time I take a mission that typically ends up in stalemate for some of the best BHers? Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. LOL God help a Bounty Hunter who isn't elite now because there is no reason for them to stayaround.
*****Before the 80 jedi that post on this thread starting crying and screaming "You don't want to hunt full template becuase you suck as a Bounty Hunter and are weak!" I would like to say this is not the reason. I can in fact take full template jedi and I have. I have just simply lost general purpose as a Bounty Hunter and I'm not for sure if I can find a purpose for myself in this new system; I hope so, because BH is the only thing that attracts me to this game currently. Bounty Hunting currently feels like grinding and this is not a good thing
