yeah but the diffrence is a jedi is meant to have xp/tim wasted a bh is not bh is an actual proff not a perk

LOL that is the funniest thing I've heard.. a perk.. do you know how long you have to grind to be Jedi? assuming your not killed 100 times while trying to gring your way through pad to Jedi.. lol

You guys crack me up.. MBH is the most babied profession by the Devs, I'm a Master Pike and MCM we have no content what so ever.. I can PVE and PVP that's it GCW is a joke. The only Jedi I can kill are powers jedi because they are so nerfed its not even funny. So consider yourself lucky you can even take on Jedi

I bought this game to play as a Jedi (stupid me payed for 3m in advance).. Now that I see how long it takes to be a Jedi and that they are a joke of an Alpha class.. I think not. I've told at least 10 friends that used to play Diablo II not to by this game. We're all long time Star Wars fans and I'm sorry guys but this game should be based on the movie.. that's why it's called "Star Wars" and there is no way a BH or any other profession should be able to take down a Jedi 1 on 1. I'm sorry, but that to me is not a Jedi.

Right now If you want to do PVP you can either not fight MBH and Jedi or you can become one. They really need to make Jedi 3 to 4 times stronger than any profession and let the light and dark jedi fight each other. Let 8 MBH group together and hunt Jedi Marks if they really want to. Why else waste all of that time grinding? So you can be just as strong as a profession that takes 1/ 30 the time to get to? what a joke.

The focus of this game should not be MBH vs Jedi it should be the GCW and the devs really need to focus more time on the GCW if they want people to stay once they have a full temp.

But seriously I agree, lots of jedi are in the DWB or on Kash. I've only been able to acually attack about 4 out if my 12 missions to date. But of course lots of jedi are full temp on Intrepid so I've been killed about twice.

ah yes intrepid home of literally 600 full template jedi. It's true that you have to find a good one to fight and it takes time (sometimes hours) and you are almost always guarenteed a full template. I was shocked to fight a 210k jedi the other day as opposed to 220k+

It's funny because I see guys that are new jedi running around in Dant Mining but I never seem to pull their missions.

Hehe... maybe most ofthe Jedi are finally realizing their place in this game. SOE is putting them in their places with all of these nerfs and rightfully so. Because of the vast number of Jedi in the game, their power is being slowly and gradually reduced to being that of a normal double elite profession now.

It's funny... all of those "uber" kids flocked to the alpha profession in order to finally win a fight because they couldn't handle it as a normal profession and now thier alpha profession is becoming a normal profession. The irony is hilarious. Jedi are so afraid that the BH is going to get something that might diversify the types of templates in this game, i.e. Ranger, that they are on the Ranger boards crying about stuff like pre-requisites.

I think it's hilarious that Jedi threaten to quit every time something happens to their profession and yet they are still there playing their "broken" profession. Instead, they choose to cry for the next 6 months about how it isn't fair that they aren't as powerful as another profession, i.e. doctors with their healing.

Let me ask.... why do people who play Jedi, play Jedi? Is it because they are the alpha profession? Is it because you sucked at PvE or PvP to begin with? A lot of the answers would be, "I have always wanted to play as a Jedi, it has been my dream since this game came out!" And my answer to that is BS. If you wanted to play as a Jedi with all of the powers of a Jedi, then maybe you should stick to KOTOR and KOTOR2.

Jedi run because they are afraid to fight. They know that they have a high probability of losing. They would rather run then stand up for themselves. They know how to stay off the terminals, yet cry when BH come for them. Let them all run and hide and be scared little children. In the end, we will have more fun in the GCW and other content with less of them around.

HA you're so right.

This level 80 rifleman walks up to me and says "you're not so tough my jedi beat you months ago" and I said "ok nice for him" and then he says and now you won't duel my Jedi. Then I said but hey I'll duel you Mr. Rifleman. Sent him a duel request and he said "I'll go get my Jedi" and I said "why rifles are good. All I have is pistols surely you can beat me" He then went LD.

If you cannot beat a bounty hunter with a rifleman then what does that say about you?

That's an outdated arguement. Jedi can now go from unlocked to full template in a month with little chance of being hunted. THey can hunt on Kashyyyk and do not get group visibility. Out of about 50 missions only 2 of them were non full template Jedi....Just 2. In my opinion that arguement does not hold up anymore.

Outdated how? the point is you have to unlock FS and that takes forever.. a min of 18 wks to go through all of the phases and that's if you don't care what you unlock.. The temp I wanted was going to take 33wks. Please tell me how that is a perk? Oh and1 month to grind all that xp maybe if you don't have a job or a life.

Sorry, but why is it that Jedi is the only hunted profession.. I for one would love it if the BH terms were interactive and you could use your own money to place a bounty on another player.. Shouldn't BH hunt each other? They do in the books

If it wasn't broke up into 2 week phases you'd unlock in 2 weeks.

Jedi have told me that they easily get 100k Jedi xp an hour in a group. Ive seen Jedi on the terminals before publish 20 go from being worth 70k to 226k in a week. Yeah that was with double xp BUT still half of that rate is only 2 weeks.

Okay Sony,
I consider myself to be a very a patient Bounty Hunter however the percentage of engageable Bounty Hunter missions is simply becoming a ridiculous small percentage of missions pulled. Once again tonight, I pulled 25 missions and was only able to reach one of my marks.
8 missions on Kash
8 missions in Endor DWB
3 missions in space
6 missions camped in a structure
1 mission I was able to actually engage
This is about 2-3 hours of work just to get the "opportunity" to attack one Jedi. This has been happening nearly every night. Bounty Hunting seems like grinding now just to get a mark you can attack. Unless you are into pve, there is really no reason to be a Bounty Hunter any longer. Noone wants to spend 3 hours a session just looking for one Jedi they can engage; thank God that Jedi didn't cloak! Then it would have been zero for the evening. Please give us a better opportunity to find our targets. With the upcoming expansion, Bounty Hunting will only get worse.

I've had this problem with kash myself but in all seriousness how long does it take to get a mission on another jedi. In regards to the dwb, if your mark is on endor chances are they are in the dwb so either check it out or drop the mission. THis really just boils down to a few minutes of wasted time and wasted droids. I simply hate the kashyyyk thing though more then anything. There should be a little check box that says "hunt on kashyyyk" for the dedicated bh out there

yeah well you can play the what if game all day long, but thePhases are 3 weeks long, and if your in a good group you might reach your 1.2 mil XP cap for two weapons in a hour and that translates to 80,000 FS XP of course now you have to take 20min trip to the villiage to convert it and find another group unless your was nice enough to let you stay.

I'm sorry but there is no way the grind is easy or short you are just making your self look dumb.

Going Jedi is way too much work for what it is.

So you yourself is admitting that the only thing slowing you down is the village because the cycles take 2 weeks?

But seriously it cant be that hard thousands upon thousands of people have got their jedi to full template and have done so with relative ease.

It takes time... now that game is this old, more will get Jedi just because it is an time investment.

You can claim this and that, but the fact will remain that the non-Jedi grind is far far easier (less time consuming).

It's not slowing me down.. I'm not doing it.. it's not worth it, but I have never talk to, or read a post from any Jedi who said the grind was easy. So where are these thousands of Jedi say that they made it with relative ease?

Calling all Jedi who did the grind with ease.. please let me know how you did it. We'll let SOE know so they can fix that bug.

I hope you are kidding man... seriously this is too funny
