Doesn't powers force cost and fa really drain your force pool fast?

Defender is a tanking template; yet, in PvE, aggro istypically drawn by dealing damage.Powers isn't really great at drawing aggro. So I question the efficacy of Defender with Powers for PvE. I would imagine that Lightsaber is a better PvE complement to Defender.

Have you run this though a character builder? Nevermind...i plugged it in wrong

Im a great believer in "if youre in melee range then youre subject to my saber"
2 boxes of melee def and minimal innate armour arent going to do a hell of a lot for you.
Theres not many melee PVPers left.
Blocking means you take no damage from ranged attacks, more block is better.

I have a temp similar to the one youre looking at. MLS Enh 3402 Healer 4000 Def 0044

I can beat these dual master saber/defenders with fairly regular results, even more quickly when I had drain, but with the silly FC on AI that happened a few patches ago I dropped it for more toys. I use a lot of foods though. You can blow your action out if youre not careful using speed and MLS, and Force armour will blow your force pool quickly too. 4000 rating for FA2 and 7000 for master defender.

Whatever you choose man..you have to learn how to play it firstly. You can have the most uber template in the history of everything but if you dont know how to play it youre still going to suck. (no saying you suck..just saying)

I know what my toon is capable of, and I also know when I'm going to get owned. 1 on 1 its a very solid temp vs melee and ranged.

I have quite a low force pool though.
