Something that needs to happen if BH/Jedi fights are turned into one on one...Either Jedi have to be balanced as an elite combat class or all elite combat classes have to be balanced so a fully templated combat person is on a level playing field with a fully templated jedi. Anything less then that and one on one fighting will be a JOKE!
Maybe make it so that if a BH looks on the terminal they ONLY see jedi within a few combat levels of themselves...means lower lvl BH hunt lower lvl jedi and high lvl BH hunt high lvl jedi...once again...only if things are balanced though.
I would love it if failed BH missions would get a BH on the terminals too...and failed missions in general for all classes should get you on the BH terminals...not one failed mission...but a few failed missions in a certain amount of time.
A smuggler should be able to hack the system and manipulate information...a chance the payout would be reduced and or you get taken off the system...maybe even make it so a smuggler can hack the system and get the mission for a NON BH...but if a smuggler hacks the system there has to be a chance of the hack to be noticed and the smuggler ends up on the terminal too...

AHAHAHAHA. Can u say griefing all padawans? The weak get weaker and more powerful get more powerful. I, in no way shape or form, can beat a MDef. Tired and Tried. Lets make Duelist Stand a +500 Aroma defense and make it active WHILE MOVING, gimme BH Vitamin of +25 Succeful Ranged Hit and we will talk.

Just beware of the fact that if they make all the improvements to BH you ask for, and make you an even match for a Jedi Knight, the amount of the payout you receive will drop into the toilet. They can't won't reward you well for winning a fight in which you've got equal skills AND the ability to dictate the terms of combat.

So, it IS called bounty hunting, right? How can you call the hunting part of it a waste of time? Thats the content, man.
Beside, droids work awfully well now, aside from Kashyyk. If it takes you 30 minutes from the time you accept your mission to the time you locate your mark, you're probably doing something wrong.
But still, what's worse? You "wasting" 10-30 minutes of your time doing the hunting part of your Bounty Hunting, or someone having easy access to a way to harass/grief other players? Personally, I'd rather the former than the latter.
HUNTING A F***ing guildy dude! im not gonna KILL my guild leader's husband for crying out loud! i am all for hunting thats why i take 30 minutes, i track my mark keep an eye on them, watch which safe houses they use, teh shuttles tehy use to go off planet. i savor the hunt. but im not going to savor hte hunt just to see my mark and he is in my guild for crying out loud. it IS a waste of time tracking down my own guildy.

I heard you the first time. And like I said (and you seem to agree with), the hunting part is a big, fun portion of the content. Just cause you chose/choose not to actually engage the target doesn't negate that.

i understand that, but there is still a lack of a feeling of accomplishment if i end up walking up to a dude i could have just /findfriended and who i would never dream of attacking.
i also use player-informants (like entertainers who usually hang out in certain cantinas) to keep an eye out for my mark. if i dont know the name, how can i do this? i just dont feel its right. perhaps give the name when you go to the spynet or maybe give the name when you reach the planet that your bounty is on.

This is a SH!T SANDWICH they are trying to feed us
- As Tanks said, Force Powers will likely soon see a 50% (or more) reduction in Force Powers.
- As far as the Devs are concerned, Visibility is working as intended and there are no currently plans for any changes to the system at this point in time. The Devs did say that they'd review it though.
- They said that elemental damage has been fixed (again) and should be going to test next week. This should give lightsabers about a 25% damage boost. On the flip side, no elemental damage is working anywhere so non-jedi weapons will be getting approximately the same boost.
- The devs have stated that they are considering adding a mind cost to force healing to limit the amount of times a jedi can heal. They think that force heals are still to cheap and easy and are unbalanced. They seemed pretty set on this one.
- They are currently looking into removing Jedi names and levels from the BH mission terminals. This way, a BH won't be able to bottom feed as easily as he won't know the strength of the mark until he actually finds and /cons him.
- A bunch of new lightsaber animations should be hitting test center next week.
- They are extending the cool down timer to Force Drain so that it isn't as spammable.
- Force Run will be a toggled ability so that you can turn it on and off at will.
- Force usage for Force Run will most likely be changing as well. There will be a lower initial cost for enabling FR, and then a small recurring cost to keep it going.
