Thread: Cowardly BH's are worse than Jedi

I was playingKOTOR2 today and heard a line that's relevant here. This character Vogga is hiring a BH to hunt this guy. The BH hasn't killed him yet. Vogga says something like "I'm not paying you to hunt him, I'm paying to kill him."

TEFs are gone, id say thats a pretty good track record since I've fought them from day one.

OMG I never thought this post would get so big, we will agree to disagree on this one as for the Jedi I firmly believe if you want to play Jedi in this game you should be forced to PVP. If you want to twirl a saber around without being attacked go play Kotor or Lego Star Wars. I know nobody role plays in this game, but we have to at least try, Jedi running around unchecked or dueling in Theed is unacceptable.

It's deplorable that you take credit for the developers removing the TEF system from the game. You did nothing to change this. They simply saw that they had an issue of player griefing on their hands. It is the height of arrogance for you to assume that YOU were the reason that the developers removed the TEF system.
The fact is that NO ONE liked being on the receivng end of a TEF killing. Consider that it was not so much a problem before the Jedi entered the scene with their FRS in full force. Jedi HAD to kill players in PvP to gain "rank" within the enclave. Thiswas a principle thatwas better on paper than inreality for a number of reasons including the TEF system and what eventually became known as "fight clubs." Both of these took away from the intended actions of genuinely besting players in PvP. Stalking around factional bases, waiting for 1 or 2 players that have interest in PvP but still want to contribute to the GCW was greifing and needed to end. And it is FOR THAT reason and not because you created some focus thread in a forum, sent a few emails, made a phone call or two, etc that the TEF system was changed.

I appreciate everyones input, I can take criticism, and it's interesting to see how theBH community feels about it.
well bmill you don't know me, I have faced full temp jedi before and I have a win percentage of about 40%, you win some you lose some. Heaven forbid a BH makes an effort to use some type of tactics and make the game a bit more interesting. To explain what I was doing, I wasn't waiting for the Jedi to get weak and "hit him when he's down", I had plenty of opportunity to do that, I was listening to the jedi talk to other jedi in the group about his template, so then I would have a better idea of what skills he had. Plus I am attempting to make aJedi database for all the marksIfight that has what their skills are, so that I can reference it before heading into battle. I am sorry I dont' follow the same BH mantra you do of hoping pickets make a kill for me, I really didn't make the post to complain or call out other BH's, I didn't mean for it to look that way, you hunt how you want to it's your $15.00. I just wanted to see how the BH community felt about the issue, I am not saying it was right or wrong, my opinion is it was cowardly, everyone is entitled to think their own way.
Most of the BH's I know don't do the drive up DB and leave just to say YAY I made 250k credits, simply because it doesn't really give you an idea of how good you are. I saw BH the other day drive up to a jedi and announced to the jedi that he had his mission and told him not to run he will let him food up, and prepare if he stays to fight. The jedi was full temp and confident he would win, the BH won after a 30 minute fight. To me that was a good indication that the BH in questionwas superior to that particularjedi, I am not saying everyone should play that way or what not, but I think your a coward if you are scared that the jedi will drink some Vasarian Brandy and kick your azz, I am not saying dont' take advantage of a situation that'sin your favor. Anyway it's just a game BMILL, I think you are overestimating your importance by calling someone childish and immature, if all you want out of being a BH is a measly 250k credits and a screenshotbe my guest. Do you see the logic in this sentence:

So basically what you are telling me is you are just as useful as a chef in battle, because anyone can ride up DB and go. BTW BMILLI don't send hate tells afterI lose or after mymark is terminated, because nothing needs to be said when I beattheir temp straight up. The Jedi would still have been severly weakened after the incap anyway, and as for your female Twi'lek hero, if she derives fun out of just DB'ing with no fight, then I hope she never gets into GCW PVP. We sit and complain whenJedi duel their friends to prevent us from attacking them calling them cowards then we exhibit the same type of behavior, waiting for them to be engaged and then attacking is fine, shooting them with jetpacks or on speeders is fine, but I just think coming up an DB'ing an already incapped Jedi when you did no work other than launch a few droids is in the same class as those old CH's who would run away and pull out their 3 rancors to fight for them before CH got nerfed. Like I said play the way you want to play, it's your money, I am sorry if I offended the non fighting BH's out there, I mean this is a fighting profession last time I checked.

The entire reason you must battle with your Jedi Marks and defeat them is because you tell them that their thoughts of being UBER because they have a glowstick are not going to happen, and that even though they have a Jedi doesn't mean they will win all the time vs. non-jedi.Why do you think they are all talking about there is no point to fight you guys we will just cloak or force run away? They keep losing, and they hate it.

Jedi keep losing because of an imbalanced game system that currently has a certain BH template very powerful compared to a fully templated Jedi. Jedi should innately be more powerful than any other template simply because of the time and effort put in. Your point was made, but you displayed your own "I'm Uber!" behavior with this statement. Just remember when Jedi are brought into balance, that you shouldn't complain just because BH's "keep losing, and they hate it." You just owned up to the fact that Jedi are underpowered, and are not 1.5 times stronger than other templates as they are SUPPOSED to be.

Sounds like you were going to do the same thing, wait until the jedi's health was low and kill him, just another BH beat you to the punch. Not sure I see your complaint here other then being frustrated because you took to long to take out the jedi. You make yourself sound self-rightous by acting like you were going to take the Jedi head on in a fair battle, but if that was the case why were you being sneaky by joining his group?!?
Sounds to me your the Jedi and are pretending to be a BH to complain. If Jedi dont want to be huntedthendon'tgrind out the jedi profession. Go play with your free toon that nobody else gets.
Why make a database of Jedi's templetes?!? especialy since a templete can be changed so easily. Sounds like a complete waste of time. Ever watch that Bounty Hunter show I think its called Mad Dog something, You dont see him walk up to his mark and say, hey im a BH get ready. He jumps there @ss before they know what hit them. Thats the way of the BH. Call us what you want, does not hurt my feelings. Hell ill kill Jedi if I see them AFK. Thats right us BH are scum of the earth and proud of it. Atleast we have an excuse. Jedi gank squads will attack anyone regardless of there CL on site. and Jedi are suppose to be the respectable ones LOL
