LOL.

This is not a fact filled rumor. There is no way that LucasArts would turn this game into nothing but Jedi running around... and by that I mean a starting profession.

They would lose more people by doing this then they would ever gain and those who cancel their Jedi accounts because it is to hard are nothing but children with ADD. Any monkey with the time can grind the village and grind to full template, I know a guy that dida full template grind in less then a week.

Your facts are wrong, I'd suggest to check your source.

So you of course have facts to the contrary, or are you just guessing like everyone else?

See.... I'm a purist. I don't hate Jedi. Actually, I think they are GREAT! I hate the fact that there are so many IN THE TIME PERIOD the game is currently in. This is an old argument but very valid to me. I follow the movies, and comics, books, and games. Yes, I am a Star Wars fanatic, and it pisses me off to see so many Jedi, brashly dueling in Theed, or waiting for the Necrosis to spawn, etc. Remember there are only a handful of known Jedi and padawans alive at this point. The rest are in hiding or non-existant.

But, I can sit back and suspend that annoyance to a degree. I can still have fun in the game, and I don't think nerfing the Jedi into a starting profession is the right move here. It gives players something to work for. Something to "conquer" so to speak. I've never wanted a Jedi for the above reason, and I'm still on the fence with it. Though lately, I'm at the point where I still like playing the game and being social with my friends, but I'm getting bored with the game itself. I've quested all the quests, looted all the loot, and mastered the professions I am interested in.

To me, Jedi is the next logical step in the progession of my gaming experience. But I'm hesitant to make the commitment to do it given that I dont' really want to add to an already out of control "problem" as I see. Also, I'm thinking of taking on Jedi because I love PvP. And being in a primarily Jedi PvP guild, I am often disadvantaged in a fight because they are "looking out for me" or worrying about whether I am doing ok or not. Were I another Jedi it would free them up to keep the offense up, instead of defense of me.

So... I still haven't decided yet. I'm going to see what Mustafar is all about and reconsider everything in about a month or so. I think it'd be fun to get hunted by you guys. From what I can tell, we're all pretty decent players, just trying to have a good time!

This is why there is a GREAT need for random NPC spawns to appear in public locations to lay waste upon those dreadfull Jedi who like to show off their flashy glow sticks. The Jedi are supposed to be hunted, what happened to that!?!?!? Create a random spawn system at _ALL_ startports to thin out the offending criminals who have a death mark on their head. If they are carrying a lightsaber then they should be dispatched !!!

As for Mustafar, some good fun in PvE and a real challenge. The primary issue is groups camping a spefici spawn whicih negates players abilities to continue along a quest. Since only _one_ player can advance per spawn and the spawn takes up to 5-6 hours it'sa frigg'n joke! Other then that...it's not bad at all. Hit me up if you're on Bria

Unfortunately, I'm on Eclipse as my primary. I've never had the patience to start totally over on another server. When I start new chars on my server, I can give them millions of credits, and the best equipment from my main... ah well. Maybe someday, I'll come over and say hi.

As to your thoughts..... I once witnessed a Lambda Shuttle land in Theed and waste every rebel in the place regardless of their faction status. Level 92 npcs spawned and just took them all out, in quick succession.

I think it would be quite funny if the Imperials owned Naboo and Vader landed and took out all the Jedi. And if the Rebels owned Naboo, if Luke landed and took out all the Jedi.

Just some fun content, no real loss of experience, decay, etc.

I was also once witness to a live event where the Mining Outpost was overrun by a mob of angry force users. They killed pretty much everyone in the place that was caught off guard. We all received a badge for it, and again there was no decay on cloning. Was a really good time.

They should institute that kind of random live event stuff more often. It USED to happen frequently, now it's like once a month, at best on my server.

I'm still a fan of bringing back the Saber TEF.... man back in the day, when a Jedi whipped out his saber in Theed, like 30 people would open up on the poor sap and kill him. It was GREAT! Though back then Jedi received the xp debt from any death, so I'm sure it was removed because of that. Though now, that only an active BH TEF causes the xp debt, I see no reason to bring the Saber TEF back. It follows 100% with the timeline and all the in-game dialgoue about Jedi being outlaws, etc.

Again, out of every 100 jedi, I bet 2 to 3 actually do this.................

Like saying poor people that looted and riot in a city hit by a hurricane are always those of minority right?

Ignorance is not an excuse my friend.

Okay, assume your ratio is correct. You actually agree with the ebay jedi I responded too by claiming a "Challenge". Grinding is not a challenge homey. It's time consuming sure, but a challenge? lmao.

I honestly doubt that this will ever happen, regardless if SOE would make more $$. But, even if it is true, I would want to try Jedi as well... just hope I can get a second slot, I like my BH'er

I'm not going to be playing a jedi. Jedi are retarded characters for 3rd graders that play with flashlight lightsabers. I'm not going to be playing BH anymore either because now it's officially useless. In fact I think I'll get off the game and just play with myself.

Thanks SOE by the way for stealing my $60 for two TOW expansion sets before announcing the entire game is becoming a piece of total crap.

Jedi will not be a 'starting' profession. Force Sensitive will be. Jedi will be harder to grind, and longer than all other professions.

I love uninformed comments like the top one in this quote.... HeadRoll's got it right.... set up the macro and go to sleep. Since you now clone where you die, even if a BH kills you while AFK you can stand right back up, and continue the grind and STILL be net positive overnight on the experience.

Lets assume that Jedi will become a starting proff.....

How will SOE handle the extra character unlock? Do exisiting jedi keep their extra character but ones new to the game or in the middle of their force sensitive grind are SOL???

will existing playes in the middle of the grind be given some sort of veteran recognition in a working FRS???

I dont know.. there are a lot of questions and what ifs but this game since launch always seems to take one step forward and 2 steps backwards.

Where is the Star Wars???

I would really like a dev to answer that.... This game resembles nothing that is portrayed in the trailers. Should just call it jedi vs bounty hunter. But anyways.... I know there are a ton of people who are unhappy and hope things get better but im reminded of that dingleberry not to long ago that said the forum community only represent a "small" portion of the overall playerbase... yeah right. Double rods to you SOE!

1) Nerfed by the CU - Annoyed

2) SWG destroyed by the NGE - Pisssed

3) Cancellation to nerf the dev's pay check, priceless!!
