Great story! Would have been even greater had I not been the BH you stole the DB from!!! LOL. Just to add to your story, there was so much commotion going on that after she died, I still thought I had killed her!!! Especially since you where red to me. Once you started attacking, I was sure you were just part of a gank squad, so I busted out my Geo and went to town (didnt see your /tells until too late).
Also, Silvermoon was not AFK. When I showed up, she mounted her swoop (which I promptly destroyed). Then proceeded to change from lightsaber to VK for the fight. And being the nice guy I am, thinking I just scored the DB and made some cash, I gave her a new Swoop deed! LOL I felt like an idiot 15 minutes later when I realized what happened.
And just to let you know, I caught Silvermoon grinding in the DWB this weekend. She came out running from a Super Battle Droid, right into the barrel of my DE-10, so I made the money back that I missed the first time. Therefore, no hard feelings!
Good job! Hope to work with you again in the future (maybe WE can split the bounty instead of you and a Jedi!!!).

Well I finally got Investigation 3 the other day and decide to try my luck with that scourge of the galaxy, the Jedi. I check the local terminal for any avaiable work. Wow, not alot of Jedi on atm. I keep flipping through the vid screens and all I see are marks of 200K and 300K. I think that these are out of my league for a first kill until one pops up. 110K.
Well lets see. Seems this "Noble Jedi" failed to help out a honorable citezen of the Empire when the need for help was there. He turned tail and ran from action, failing to help costing the life of someone. Well he must be brought to Justice for this.
I talk to the local SpyNet Operative and find out that this Jedi is on Dantooine. Well I jump in my Tie Fighter and I am away and land at the Imperial Outpost. Low and behold he is not too far away. I talk to a local Doctor who boosts my stats and listen to the Entertainers to refresh my Mind. I see that my mark is very active from the droids scans and decide on a course of action. Rev up my swoop and away I go.
I come to within a few hundred meters when the droids tell me I am too late, he has moved on. I look to see what is going on and it sems that volitor trackers and seething bols are being slaughtered by this Jedi. I wait at his last lair and behold, he moves back to town. Was I made?? Did he see my droids?? Lets find out. I go to town and check out some merchant tents and see he has moved onto more lairs.
I decide this is it, I drink some good brandy and eat a hearty steak and move out. I have my trusty Laser Carbine out named "Daisy" adnd see what is going on. Low and behold the poor Seething Bols are being slaughtered again. I hop off my bike and introduce him to Daisy. I see that he has become dizzy and not seeing clearly, apparently he is not aware of my presence, good for me, too bad for him. I fire a shot that lands him on his back and open up with some devastating shots. It does not take much and he is done.
He lies there begging for me to leave him be, to let him live for another day when I tell him sorry, that I am a Bounty Hunter, and this is his end. One blow is all it takes and he is no more. I activate my commlink to let the originator of the bouty know, that the Jedi that ran when he needed his help most is no more. He thanks me for my time and effort and transfer the credits to my Corellian account.
I head back to the outpost knowing that justice was served and that the Galaxy is a little more Peaceful and a little closer to being rid of the Jedi and back to order. Hopefully tomorrow will be just as good a day.......

congrats. I just got my first player bounties today also. but the first 4 missions i took they either used feign death or went in a safe house. It was very frustrating but its so much fun i ended up killing 3 or so today

I'd love to come to you and say I had a great hunt, when in reality I didnt. I cant play every day, so the long jurney to INVIII took me a little while to say the least. I even stayed on past my usuall time because I was so pumped to kill my first, I wouldnt be able to sleep.
I tracked my target to Dantooine and found him grinding a lair. At first, I didnt notice his friends and I just started blasting right away. Run , stopping shot, Run, intimidate, waffer, stopping shot, etc... the whole time a friend was following him around on a swoop giving him heals. Finally, my target falls. My heart was thumping out of my chest. I couldnt believe I beat a Jedi. I move in for the db only to find out he feighned. I didnt know what to do at this point so I just stood there blasting him while his friends watched. For 10min I stood there shooting, during which he had the time to call a faction buddy to his aid.
In my book, It was a kill even though I was cheated out of 75k, not to mention the resources, buffs, and foods It took to stand against him in the first place. Is this what I have to look forward to? Spending 30k for a 70k target. If thats the case, I would stick to NPC marks and save money on buffs and resources and actually make some money. Is there a way to complete the mission if they feighn? can they feighn every time I come after them? I really dont understand how the devs could let one slide like this. Other than A jedi Being AFK, how do you guys get your marks?

Bagged my first Jedi kill at the 2nd attempt (died vs my first mark). 150K Credits and 5K Inv XP for 1 kill, not bad

His gank squad was able to icap and I lost the mission. I frogot to add that part
