Thread: New tactic vs. Jedi with stasis?

Last night I fought a Jedi. He saw me load into his player city at the shuttle port. He immidiately hit the buffs and food. I hit mine and said, "What the heck?" After fighting for a few minutes, he began to run low on force (He was Mpowers). I tanked him for a little while while he use up his force. But then as I started to win, he hit me with stasis and took off to regen. Once stasis wore off and I was ready to return to battle, he had regened. He did this three times.
My question is, couldn't I bring a friend with me to /duel me while I was fighting the jedi, and say I had my friend remain unarmed. So everytime the Jedi used stasis, my friend would attack me and break me free. Anyone know if this works?
The reason I ask is because there is one Jedi in my guild who i get intel on many of the Jedi marks I take. He knows almost everyone's temp and gives me some advice on their strengths and weaknesses, so I would probably know if I was going up against an MPowers.
Sorry, did not take the time to read all the replies. Your question may have been suficently flamed, but I am ashamed to address you as a BH.
A while back, the comunity was a bit upsetand great debates were drawn when a Doc was killed from a TEF when healing a friend in combat. Then, when fixes were made, BH's became angry with Jedi for healing and transfering force to the BH's mark without a TEF to suffer the consiquences of aiding in a fight. Now you want to do just that?! Goes to prove exploiters will be exploiters regardles of their professions.
If you intention was not to exploit, then I just ask that you think about your tactics before causing a new nerf war.

I CAN be beaten but not with the current crop of FoTM BH/CMs. Seems that they keep expecting a MLS/MDEF or MLS/ MEnh. I was just responding to your comment about my being upset about pearl drops and BHs owning me. Rest assured, nothing is further from the truth.

Yes we kill them and enjoy it...yes we will use whatever legitimate tactics to accomplish that but most of us will not exploit.
I will take you on anyday anytime duel to the death and see how good ofa BH you really are. Most Bh's are twits period. Too lazy to grind Jedi and to weak to PVP with them. Not all but most. IGN Kraenee come get me anytime Guild Wikyd /server eclipse Planet Dant. City NI. Come and get your money if you can. As far a sploits. I've seen more sploits done by BH's in the last year than one can count. Bring it and see what an 800 dps saber feels like upside your head.

I have read the entire thread, as I do many others which make claim that ANY particular skill is overpowered. Have done this from the days when everyone was crying that root was overpowered. I respond specifically to you because your attempts to make a point are filled with opinion, half facts and PvP miscues that seemingly prevent you from being able to kill a Jedi with cloak. Nonetheless, I shall attempt to summarize what you have stated and the facts by contrast.
A non TEF'd Jedi dropping a house as
a means of escape is an exploit.
Fact
It is working as intended provided the Jedi is no longer TEF'd
A Cloaked Jedi has removed the 1st strike
ability from a BH.
Fact
A cloaked Jedi cannot attack a BH unless s/he has ALREADY been attacked by a BH and cannot
attack while cloaked.
After attacking a Jedi from 60m, he cloaked
and now you no longer have first strike
ability
Fact
YOU initiated the PvP sequence by attacking. It was not your FOTM MLS/MDEF jedi, but a powers user. To quote Palpatine "Now you pay the price for your lack of vision."

I've hunted Jedi since Pub 6. I've hunted Jedi when they had 85% saber block. When they could hide inside a private structure DURING a fight. When other Jedi could transfer force and heal them DURING a fight. When they had possee squads that could attack me as well. When they dealt "lightsaber damage" which rendered my armor useless. When they were buffed to 5k HAM, when they could wear comp armor... had sabers that hit for ridiculous damage. When Jedi HEALER worked as intended... and the list goes on. I've hunted Jedi when the only time you had a chance to kill a Knight or better was to catch them totally with their pants down, unbuffed, unaccompanied and unprepared. If all I had to worry about was a Jedi being able to cloak or stasis for escape in an otherwise EXTREMELY level playing field, I would have counted my blessings, not come onto the boards to make some claims about how they are exploiting because I couldn't roll up, hop off of my swoop and kill them.
Back then, BHs had to be smarter than their opponents to survive. Now, as things have come full circle and we have these MBH/CM FoTM templates, it is Jedi who must be smarter to survive. Do not fault the jedi, the skill or the system, if you were out maneuvered, out thought or out fought. Do what we did long ago. Take something from your experience, learn from it. Have a contigency in place in the event you encounter a powers or enhancer Jedi and finally, be happy that you didn't die.

I must've strucka nerve with all these jedi. The truth tends to do that.
Too bad Im on intrepid. I'd hope for your mission and I know if I won you'd come up with some excuse like"I was lagging" Fact is I'm training some of you Jedi to try and be bounty hunters and they're having a hard time because they are used to having the edge. These Jedi asked me to help them....it speaks volumes for your kind.
Too lazy to grind Jedi lol like it's hard. XP is so fast it's out of control but you Jedi whined to keep that too.
Sploits....god you even use that retarded "leet" speak. It's exploits you moron. Write it down.
I personally would never use it, as BH vs Jedi battles are better left as one on one, and I think stasis is a valid tactic for escaping. Sure it's frustrating when the Jedi turns tail and runs, but once you accumulate your fortune from NPC missions, who cares about the money? When the Jedi fails to kill me, I consider that a victory for the good guys. They will cover it up with hate tells, but their ego will be hurting afterward. Outclass him enough and he just might give up on Jedi, which is much more powerful than any XP loss. I've got some really funny stories related to that.
Another thing, who are you guys to flame this dude for posing a question? He didn't say he actively uses it or anything, he just wanted an opinion. So reserve your comments for the idea and not for personal flames, for civility's sake.

How is fleeing and placing a house an exploit? If a Jedi flees, they can do whatever they want. They aren't required to even fight. I don't always fight when I'm not in the mood.

If it makes you feel any better, Jedi are getting same nerfs, one at a time. Look at what they did to LS, healing, Master Healers, Defenders, and other little stupid nerfs. Both sides are getting it bad. And yes, I have a MBH alt too.
