NO don't hate the weapon it's been a long time coming, i sent lots of csr reports asking for this weapon and now it's finally here. guess i'll go back to master 2hand now i'll keep pikeman of course

Well, we did already get our schematic, so we can't really complain about that. I think we can complain that our schematic weapon has no armor piercing vs. this one's medium armor piercing...Well, the energy lance has a particle effect and diseases (that are only good for anything if you lose your fight) and gives us at least the option of using a 3rd damage type, however limited.

how can you look at the stythe and say it's a polearm? It's a weapon you wield from one end with hands placed one over the other. If you say so because the devs said so, then i just laugh at the devs.

He said that not because that particular scythe is a polearm, but most scythes are curved blade on a pole (Think about what the Grim Reaper always carries).

I'm not saying i'm one of them, it's that i've been waiting for this weapon since i started playing in july. as far as the pike weapons go, i know they're f'ed up. after i'm a master pikeman too. as every other profession with more followers then pike, it got fixed before us.

I was lookin but can't find it...Anyone remember seeing the first scematic for the Energy Lance? I recall seeing a screen shot of a particulary good assembaly which had a max damage of around 1k. I might be trippin but I remember gettin excited over that fact in particular. Is it possible that we've just been seeing the low end product after the initial discovery, or maybe they did a lil stealth nerfing...

I did a search and didn't see any mention of an energy lance with that kind of damage. Mine was built by a master WS with extra experimentation points and 37 max dmg NS vibro units (basic type) and got 280 max dmg. Someone else around here is claiming to have a 390 max dmg one, but I can't see how since the best vibro units I've heard of were 89, which makes a 310-320 max dmg energy lance.
