I wasn't aware you could milk corpses?

I was searching for a spitting rawl or something in the southern mountain range and accidentally discovered the milk option. I harvested all the milk I could from those ikopi and I've never done it again. Yay.

Becuse it is not a Ranger skill..anyone can do it.

Actually you just need Mask Scent dont you (or you spook everthing you try to milk)? So you need at leastNovice Scout and Exploration 2. I agree we should get some type of XP for it. Logically it would be Scout XP as it's a form of harvesting resources isn't it?

It would be nice to get Wilderness survival though instead (same for fishing) - or maybe a bit of both!

The person harvesting either needs to be masked or concealed. Therefore, a Ranger can conceal someone without any Scout skills and they can milk as long on conceal is active on them.

RoperGaren brings up an interesting point. Fishing does get you survival xp but you dont need the scout skill to do it. Id say leave milking to everyone. But shouldnt fishing be a scout only thing? I know any jimbob with a rod and reel can go fish. That or give us some kind of bonus to catching even if we dont get one for filleting. I have to read "Outdoorsman" again but i think the fishing nets in there isnt it?

just goes to show you how easy it is to milk. You're teetering between life and death, your mind slowly fighting to regain consciousnes. You're groggy and unable to move...except to grab the teat of the closest herbivore and milk it for all it's worth.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

Silly Bothan... I'm not an herbivore and that hurts!

Now to my point... or question I guess... Does Veghash increase your ability to harvest more milk? And now my gripe... make the stupid creature stop walking when the milking starts... nothing is more annoying than to slowly walk (or sometimes run) alongside a bantha and milk it at the same time... I've spent way to much time with the "Creatue has moved to far away to continue milking" message!!!!

Especially when it's not actually moved anywhere, in fact it's laying down. That bugs me no end!

That bug annoys me as well.I find it happens infrequently but I guess I haven't milked anything in a long while.

Now heres my question: Why in the hell can I milk a Cu Pa? Are they not related to a Taun Taun (which according to the Illistrated Star Wars Universe are reptiles)? *shiver*
