I gambled with the respec that they won't.

I imagine eventually that something will be put in place (All these different buff-types that have been rumored), but in the end... I just don't think entertainers will ever be made into what I would want out of them.

Nothing wrong with anyone that does enjoy just simply being able to "perform", but I wanted more out of it than that. I just "perform" in real life and was hoping to be an actual working entity of game-mechanics in the Star Wars world... not just fluff and not just a RPer without a game-mechanic purpose.

I held onto it since launch, but finally realized they are steering the entertainers farther away from what I would like, rather than closer to it.

Um..the point? Well, the point is to have fun. At least, that's why I *thought* I was supposed to be doing the last 2 years. I think that Musician is a pretty damn fun profession. Maybe fluff *to you*, but not to many of the people who chose the profession. I don't happen to agree with so many people wanting to be a jedi or another other profession, but I don't come to those boards and tell people they don't have a purpose.

thats what i was thinking.... since when does entertainer cost 0 sp?

if its true i wouldn't mind would mean i can get master musician back + keep master entertainer... and raise my CL a little more with the SP used to get to musician normally

Basically we are a bit scared that entertainer may join the echelons of pilot, politician etc that are zero sp classes.

What I think MLite is worried about is not having an audience to entertain. What fun is it performing in an empty cantina?
