Wow that sounds incredibly stupid.. just like your idea.. the second a dev hinted at that all you clown bh's would scream bloody murder and threaten to leave the game much like you do every time a patch note is released

With your brain man, you shouldn't assume anything You are totally wrong on most parts but one : CH is used for combat, yes.

But it shouldn't, not only btw...you gain your lvls by teaching creatures too and btw, you don't get any combat XP as far as I know.

But keep on assuming, who cares ?

I really hate posting, but I have to post here. First of all, Bathoshark, stop telling everyone to stop getting mad, because you're only trying to give yourself a one up in the argument by trying to say that everyone is overreacting and therefore has something to hide. Second of all, creature permadeath is a bad idea.You can't just walk up to the bazaar and buy a creature. You actually have to go out into the wild of some remote planet and go out searching for the pet you want. For a bounty hunter or any other weapons class, they just need the waypoint to weapons shop or a bazaar terminal. Even if they lost their weapons every time they die (we all might as well with this death on decay crap), it wouldn't be too difficult to get new ones. Thirdly, with the new changes in creature handler, you pretty much have to be a master to be very effective. So no more of these 3 2 0 0 creature handlers (to whomever it was that said something about that). Please, stop crying for nerfs, cry for fixes of the classes that are broken. Carbineer, squad leader, and chef most notably. Make constructive posts, please, for the sake of my sanity at least.

Bartho get lost will ya... perma death isn't going too happen period... it has been asked too many times now... ever since the game began...



I call for all ch's that read this too go to the bh forums and make posts on this subject:


LET THE BH'S LOOSE THEIR UBER WEAPONS WHEN THEY DIE... (not even the doc res will help too prevent this)


That Bartho is kinda the same thing you proposed too our weapons/friends, my pets aren't meatshields... sure i use them in combat but i take care off them... and read my sig i don't use them as tanks cuz for that they have little worth as a TKA hybrid.... think about that!!!!

I think it would be a great Idea if our pets died. because these dabblers would be buying a new pet every hour. Putting a bigger demand on the creature handlers thus raising the price on , hehe ready for this , the lvl 10 - 15 pets the dabblers can control hehe, nice think of it . a wrix going for 30k hahaha or thier Spat going for 40k so great let our pets Die....... we will tame more.

I'm a CH and actually I think this may be a good idea. Yes, it may suck just a bit when your pet dies... But, imagine what it will be like when everyone elses pets are dying and mounts are dying. That would just add a huge amount of credits in the pockets of all of us CH's.

How do you get your equipment back? and are any of the major wounds permanent?


You don't like CHs fine don't play one and don't group with one. Good luck doing any of the high level areas without one.


You want intresting dialog ask on the BH forums why so many of you post " nerf this" threads.


Spend your time getting your own class fixed and stay the F*CK away from ours.

That's the problem ... it isn't pop it's wait and wait and wait. What about the poor buggers working their way up the tree with two pets in their DP? Remember when you were a novice BH? Imagine if you will that when you were killed you couldn't use your gun for five days. Furthermore, imagine that you can only carry two guns. This is the crux of the problem - CH's aren't afraid of taming creatures - we like it. The problem is down time. People complain about 10 minutes of down time waiting on a ship - imagine 5 days.


If the growth time on pets was drastically reduced it would remove the problem with perma death. It might also create other problems though.

if i could have a lvl 125 pet at novice CH (with no skill) and heavy armor i would be willing tolet it perma die, it never would, but it would be fine if it was still posable...
