Wow. 16 professions.. your better off then most. You've got a 1 in 16 chance in unlocking it for every skill you do.... just take a break.. and come back later if you fell like it.. if not.. sell it a friend or someone who doesn't wanna start from scratch... sorry to hear about the disappointment.

But if your sikc of the game now, you prolly wont play a jedi character very long, I hear that is the worst grind there is. I think just the toughness of playing a FS character is thier "organic" system. I dont think slots will be rare, but people making it to padawan, and jedi knight will be extremely rare. Losing all your skills at 3 deaths? and BH missions for you.......that in itself will keep the amount of jedi ingame very, very low.

I dont think they mind so many people opening thier slots, but it does bother me that some people get all Novice proffessions as thier 5, and others get the worse possible proffessions thier are. They should have made a way to even this out, like that 115 skillbox theory that one guy had.

gonna quit SWG, i dont think i can catch upwith those LUCKY people who got their FSCS by mastereing 6-8 professions.

hopefully they made the SWG MMORPG 2 (SWG: Empire Not Bugged and NoLucky System)

would it be fun if u get FSCS after mastering 32proffesion? its hard..

at least keep the FSCS away from those LUCKY people!

If you can't deal with the grind, then don't go after Jedi. You knew what was involved, and you knew how insane the odds are. Yet, you decided to go after Jedi anyway, so you have nobody but yourself to blame. Don't like the path to Jedi? Then go play as something else and forget all about Jedi. It's as simple as that.

Too much focus on the end result people. Ive mastered 13 Proffs and i havent unlocked the slot. But you know what? I'm happy to have to master 13 more before i get it because i have been "playing" them (only for around a week each mind you). I have been able to see what goes into making high lvl meds, taming high lvl mobs, making armour/structures, etc. and now i have a much greater understanding of the game and have also enjoyed learning new things and meeting new people.

The system isnt designed to be a grind but if you play it like that, then you will just have to accept that it IS going to be a grind.

And as for some people moaning about other players being lucky, whats wrong with that? Is it because your not so lucky and will take you longer to unlock the slot? And by that time they will be alot higher than you so you wont be so Uber?

Anyway, just "play" the game... Its alot more fun than grinding,
