A while ago (pre CU and pre BH changes) I was questing with a jedi friend, when a BH came to kill him, he succeeded because the jedi ran away from the group, (we couldnt aid him because of that) shortly after the bh (that I managed to hit before he got out of ranged) came back and attacked me. He was A TKA, I had 90% armor and full buffs, so he couldnt scratch me.

So i sent him a tell asking why he was stupid enough to come back. He then replied with 'quicker way back to Dathomir Outpost.)

I found this icredibly cheeky and arrogant so I replied with 'only by triple incap.'

And I trippled him. I think that case was pretty much justified.

From my understanding (and correct me if I am wrong) there is no difference in decay from a DB or Trip Incap. However, the difference is that in a trip incap,the BH's armor takes additional damage and loses more condition.

As far as it being ok? Well to those who enjoy the role of being the unscrupulous BH, I do find it ironic that a profession that likes to endear having no morals or scruples in their Jedi hunt, would also question the moral compunction of a Jedi who choses to triple incap vs. DB, in order to further damage a BHs armor. Isn't that kinda like saying "I want to be mean, just don't be mean to me"? Remember, not ALL jedi are "good guys". Some Dark siders like to play THIER role too ;-)

When is it ok to triple incap? (I'm not talking about a prolonged fight where you are only able to kill your mark by a triple.)

war is war and there are no rules in war .. i dont see the difference in triple incapping you or DBing you... id take the triple incap .. gives me a tiny bit of a chance,,

maybe pop a stim off quick ... maybe another BH come in for the strike .. i dont think you should bother looking to deep into why he did it thats none of your concern ... who cares why he did it ... as a hunter .. buisness is buisness .. you either take out the mark or dont .. if ya dont .. jut brush yerself off and try again bud
