Get buffed and head to the Canyon Corsair POI on Lok. Kill them all and you should be lookin good.

Yup, go and kill Canyon Corsairs or Blood Razors on Lok to increase your Nym faction.
If you're feel like a challenge you can also kill Hutt Expeditionary people on Yavin 4.

Nope do not listen to them the best way to go to Yavin IV kill Hutt Expeditionary Forces then kill Borvo then Trade Federation that is the best way to go that way you do not hve the Blood or Canyon Pirates on you and you will be safe on Lok

I'm doing the Rebel Themepark and I am now at the part where you have to go to Lok and talk to Niem and Han. However, Nym's guards don't like me at all and theysure like to hang around the cantina...which is where I needto go. The weird thing is, isthat I don't have negative faction with Nym (though I do have -5k Thug faction, which may be the reason they attack me) and last time I was running around on Lok they didn't bother me (which was some time ago, before I mastered TK).
I don't want to fight my way through them (most of them con yellow and the sheer number of them would mean I would end up being one dead Trando very quickly), since I don't want Neg faction with Nym and last I heard there was no way to 'improve' your faction with Nym. Any suggestions on what to do here?

I've found that doing Blood Razor missions from a mission terminal raises your Nym faction. I dunno why they are attacking you if you don't have negative Nym rating though. Try running a few of those missions maybe, and if that doesn't work, just burst run into the cantina.

When I got back on I discovered why: I had +5K Bloodrazor faction. Took a couple missions and dropped that drastically and rose my Nym Faction. Now I'm peachy with Nym.

Due to BH missions I am -1800 Nym faction. I do need positive faction with them to do themepark correct? If so how do I raise faction with them?

No I did the theme park yestarday with negative faction, it just makes it hard to get in and out because the nym guys around the palace/office aggro you, other then that I was fine
