OK then.
The BH loses the MBH box and the top two invest boxes if he gets killed, as well as all accumluated BH and combat XP he may have on him.
There. Nice and equitable.

Won't work.
Would you rather take 650K XP loss or 200K XP loss? The simple answer is that Jedi will still suicide because losing 200K is better than losing 650K (450K from the BH deathblow and then a further 200K for the clone).
Having a BH get credit for a jedi dying under BH TEF would not work at all, BH's would just wait for the jedi to cross some lava with his skiff then just shoot it out from under him getting an instant I win.
---
So.... what... exactly?
Sorry. Jedi can be attacked anytime and that's the downside of the profession. There shouldn't be any BH experience loss simply because BH is not compareable to Jedi in any way.
I'm not a griefer and nearly all of the jedi I ever fought are pretty good friends of mine by now, but I do what I can to win if I have the mission - and blowing up a Skiff while traversing lava would be exactly what a BH would do.

That's pretty funny actually. And I'm waiting for my opportunity to see a BH driving the desert skiff over lava with people on board.... instant death to the Jedi and 7 friends... heheheheh I'm a sicko, I know.
yeah you won't think it's funny when you ride with a jedi and he gets hit and dumps you into the lava, and your armor decays.
Oh c'mon! You don't see the humor in that? If I were on the skiff, I'd have to sit back and laugh. I'd send the guy that did it a /respect tell too!
You need to look at it from both sides of the coin though. Any jedi that knows of such a Bounty Hunter would return the favor and drop you in a vat of liquid hot magma (yes, coined movie phrase), but that can't happen either. Such things aren't cut and dry in a game where the only person that benefits is you.

I do look at it from both sides, but when I play my jedi (and I have to admit that I seldom do), I know that I chose to be hunted and I know that I am not the one who decides the when and where.
You have to be prepared at any time and if you are not, it is entirely your fault.
I've only managed to surface on the terminals for once even though I haven't had the pleasure of groups without visibilty or even instances to grind in, let alone double experience.
I'm sorry, all you younger jedi just don't understand what it means to be a jedi.
We old ones grew up while we could permanently decease, we grew up hiding and we trained to remain hidden.
SWG wasn't meant to be a jedi show-off modelling catwalk as it is now and though the developers are changing it to be, the old code is still part of the programme.

That is most valid statement I've seen a Jedi make..... /salute

No, that's more than a Jedi would lose. You're asking the BH to give upbetween 3 and 6 hours of straight mission running, where a Jedi could make up the 300k debt in about an hour and a half. The combat xp loss pushes this into ridiculousness. That's not equitable. There simply IS no quick way to make up BH investigation quickly. Combat xp is earned at the same rate as Jedi xp: 10% per kill.
I support BH experience loss, but to a fully templated BH, it means about as much as it would to a fully templated Jedi. No, the BH's should get visibility and become hunted for losing too many mission, in my opinion. Kind of like a survival of the fittest system.
Well, my point was that we should make it REALLY painful, more painful than a Jedi's loss, if we're going to properly smack down the people who keep insisting on BH being a griefing profession.
If they want to grief, let them feel it in return, more intensely. To make the point.
