ummm... Lightsabers are ENERGY damage now, so you DO have a LS resist PSG. I mean, in case you didn't know...

They are energy, but meele.

PSG only defend against ranged attacks.

No Humor for you!

I mean seriously, come on now. Do we REALLY worry about LS vs Energy damage here?

No. Nowhere in the movies you see a jedi with armour or psg. bh's on the other hand are always wearing armor so please dont bring that up. plus i think all that force aura and the other defender stuff makes up for a psg

Bossk was wearing a flight suit.

Zuckuss was wearing a suit that contained amonia (sp?) and to seal him from O2 which is poisonous to him.

Greedo was wearing a flight suit/vest.

Aura Sing was wearing a jump suit.

I could go on far longer than who is wearing armor in the movies, and could start on the books as well.

Not all BH are ALWAYS wearing armor. But.....there is a jedi in the movies that is wearing armor. Darth Vader, while granted is wearing a life support suit in all effects, is still concidered modified battle armor as per the RPG (which, as many know-rates as a source to how things work in the genre as Lucas sees it).

Also, recently (I would say within the last five months) an edition of Star Wars Insider had a story detailing one of the Jedi commanders of a clone group-and guess what she is wearing in all the pics, as well as the story? You guessed it-clone armor-even better than what her clones are wearing-it is higher protection than the normal suits.

Not every Jedi is a master defender just like not every bounty hunter is a master combat medic/master rifleman/master squad leader/master whatever-else-it-might-be-that-Jedi-complain-about-without-realizing-that-not-every-bounty-hunter-has-every-skill.

It was the Clone Wars cartoon. Yes he was. And the Dark Horse stuff I mentioned earlier. Cool stuff. So...all folks who love the EU books, comics, and cartoons stand along this wall....all of those who only support the movies, and don't recognize those stories or the 40, 000 timeline stand along this wall....aaaand...FIRE!

I love the EU.

But if SOE is not going to allow Jedi to wear armor then PSGs should also count.

darth vader wore that because he was crippled. i give SOE permissionto give jedi armor if they lose 70% of medi-chlorians in their body and their movment speed is reduced to 40% and they can't turn their necks

sheesh, with all the npc's and pvp players slingin' snare every other attack, my movement speed is reduced quite nicely but yea, once pre-cu psg's were considered armor and couldn't be equipped. I guess soe needs to make up their darn mind

darth vadar's suit didnt have any protection to LS either, just fyi. he had access to cortosis weave for the suit but chose instead to rely on his lightsaber skills to defend himself.
