Thread: Bounty Hunter VS Bounty Hunter

The only two bounty hunters that I know that teamed up and worked well together was Zuckuss and Lom?? The rest were always wanting to work as independants. Heck there are even instances where one bounty hunter tried to take the mark away from another one(Bossk, IG88, a few others).
Jango worked with zam whateverthehell when he was contracted to kill whoeverthehell (honestly, all I remember from episode 2 was jango being the badassest mother****er ever, and the fact that he had to kill his partner to keep from being discovered after failing)
My only concerns are that:
1. BH hunting stays focuses on hunting Jedi. The reason why BH vs Jedi was put into this game was to emphasize the PvP element of Jedi and to slow the development thereof
2. No possible way for Jedi to "cheat" the system thus preventing a BH (or even discouraging a BH) from hunting and killing them.
BH vs Jedi is a DEV implemented design as has been stated over and over to be working as intended. Unless the DEVs decide otherwise and/or another method of Jedi progression control installed, BH NEED to be vigilant in hunting Jedi. Once a Jedi is full template he is very difficult to beat and, more or less, has no more "danger" in playing his Jedi. This state of Jedi must be limited to the greatest extent and very hard to obtain.
Distracting BH with getting ganked by other BH, while it may keep with the SW "theme", could very easily become a distraction and even adiscouraging factor when hunting Jedi. Any instance where a normal toon is forced into PvP must be looked at very carefully for Game Play vs SW Realism balance with Game Play being the most important factor.
Proposal: Enabling Bounty Hunter Vs Bounty Hunter Combat when both hunters are hunting the same mark.
When two bounty hunters encounter one another and they are hunting the same mark, they are allowed to attack each other. If one bounty hunter kills the other that bounty hunter is "locked" into finishing the mission. When "locked" into the mission, the bounty hunter can not pick up another mission until the mark is dead (killed by the victorious bounty hunter or another hunter who has the same mark) OR he drops the mission with an appropriate penalty (bank account deducted by amount of bounty). This will limit the number of bounty hunters that are highered by Jedi to protect them and will underline the consequences of violating the Hunters Creed. (A hunter that kills another hunter but does not finish the mark is basically violating the Creed). If a bounty hunter successfully defeats another bounty hunter and kills the mark an appropriate bonus is added (double or more the posted bounty).
Why do this?
A bounty hunter can call himself the best but he becomes the best only when recogized by his peers as the best.

Is it just me or are you just a little bit obsessed with jedi? Every post you put up mentions jedi.
