Thread: Cant KD recover while KD'ed
actually umm...escape works....
i died twice to this bug before i figured that out - havent died due to it since

/macro center (or whatever macro you dumped to get up) it saves you time and keeps you going without having to type out the name again

And i'm not calling you a liar either man, please don't get me wrong. But i can show you repeated FRAPS video of the KD bug, and the 129038091238 minutes i have laying on my back while trying yours and others suggestions. THEY DO NOT WORK. MY LORD i wish they did, but they do not.
There is something very, very wrong, and i HATE the fact thati'm in here with fellow BH's debating this issue.

Ok, i tested it even more tonight.
Hitting esape twice had me laughing out loud like a maniac so many times. I'm right, it does NOT work.
Using any macro ever listed in the forums to get up, does NOT work.
I'm trying to be civil about this but it's very hard when someone essentially says i'm either A) lying B) doing something wrong. I mean,a handful of you claim you have no problems using that/those macro(s) or the "hit escape twice" method and i have really have no right to dispute that, ya know? (Remember -i used themfor a bittoo, and i claimed them as gold at the time) But i'm not some whiney brat lookin for a cookie or a nerf or a freebie or whatever. If i'm wrong i'll accept that and move on with an apology, that's no big deal. That's the point, i'd LOVE to be wrong, i'd LOVE to make a public apology to everyone i didn't yet get to offend on the matter lol.
Aeschyl: I only wanted to convince you for your support, unfortunatley even with all of your accomplishments in the game to date you don't know what you're talking about when it comes to this bug. I say that with respect, and i hope you understand where i'm coming from. If you've ever experienced the KD bug and hit escape twice (then recover) and didn't get up, you'd be right here with me now supporting me as opposed to making me out to be a noob by not learning "within two deaths" of how to fix it, im' alot smarter than that. I experience this daily.
Fact is: There is something seriously wrong. And it's 530 am.
Edit: There is obviously more than one "cannot knockdown recovery whileknocked down" bug, and i am not confusing it with the dizzy/kd bug. The macros and hitting escape twice will work for that, i guess. I'm talking about the game breaking cannot knockdown recovery while knocked down bug, the one you can't get past using those methods. That's what's BS, and that's what needs to be addressed by one of the SoE devs. In the meantime, lets doubt each other, degrade each others abilities etc, makes our community so much stronger...blah. Wake the F up soe.

Iheard if you hit esc 3 x, then log out "/quit", whenyou logback in you won't be KD anymore. or you will. one of the 2.
I support the escalation of this bug to the "gotta be fixed" level. despite what the escape-hitters say about so-called foolproof workarounds.
