Wow this is definately good to keep the DEVs up to date on. I didn't know ride offers could fill up a screen like?!??!?!

I say they should put a 2 minute timer on ride offers to the same person.

I had some alot of people challenge me to a duel once, I don't know what they were trying to do, or if they did anything at all.

/agree...and you've got the difference between training mobs and running through mobs a bit confused, let me clairfy:

For those who don't know, training mobs IS a bannable or suspendable offense, check the Database or the EULA. When my server still had AH propulated 24/7 there were the occasional people who would bring mobs in to create a ruckus and would get stung for it, because they were "training"them on or in other words causing them to aggro, attack, and possibly killother players. What happened to the BH in this case WAS training. Now, had the BH and jedi been fighting and the jedi himself had put on force run and gone through a kimo spawn, the BH followed, and the kimos aggroed the BH, that's different, simply using the environment for protection. The jedi didn't bring the mob to the BH, and the BH didn't have to follow the jedi through the spawn. Feesibly the BH could have just let the jedi gone through and the kimos would have aggroed the jedi and not the BH. That is why that sort of case is not training.

As to the "/offerride" thing, at least in my mind this is not an exploit, but does fall heavily under "harrassment." This happened to a guildie and the way we had to get it resolved was with our guild leader talking to the leader of the other party's guild, so luckily niether group needed to resort to a CSR. What the offerride thing does do is it effectively locks your computer down, because of the number of messages creates so much lag you can't do anything. we were getting one message every 1 or 2 minutes because our member couldn't type due to lag.

AND JEDI--watch yourselves, the member who had this happen in my guild is a jedi: the problem affects you too. Exploiting and harrassment on either side of the game is unacceptable, and if it's being done to you no matter who you are dont' do it back, you may find you will get in big trouble for it. I would Highly recommend not using this sort of thing against others for your own reputation reasons as well as for the good of your account, chances are that if this sort of thing gets caught and enough harrasment tickets are submitted then your account will be suspended or banned.

heres a rofl story , im a jedi, nobody hunts me, so i get bored, anyway, i was with noob jedi grinding. 2 respec bh s come to kill a noob jedi, we werent far from a safe house, and the mark makes it there. i try to duel them, but they know better. an older jedi friend had just logged on that day after a long break. he gets 1 respec bh to duel, and kills him. now the marked jedi runs out of his house and attacks the remaining bh, after awhile the bh is losing and burst runs away, of course the marked jedi has no run skills so the bh is clearly getting away. so i pull my av21, chase him down, offer him lots of rides. LOL he accepts, ROFLMAO, so i take him straight back to his mark. drop him off, where he is then killed. you might be a respec bh if you accept rides from jedi LOL

It might be possible to make an anti-ride macro? I was thinking you could just put /declineRide on a continous looping macro? Not sure if it would lag you up as bad but worth a shot when you get the arsefaces.

Man... maybe we should go take a look in the Jedi forums and count cry posts... I don't really feel like being here all night though.

yeah, its technially illegal to drag spawns as weapons.

but thats kinda weird since from pub9 all the way to CU, the force powers tree had an ability to make animals attack. but animal attack so gone now, so maybe its bad again

From a Padawan view (mine in other words all fo cl 65 when i had a dance on dath with a bh last time)

the spaming of rides? person doing it needs a time out big time, 3 months or more works for me.

using the local animals: If i am doing it then it is it fine, if someone ELSE is doing it (not me, not the bh trying to earn a living) then they need a time out. Frankly when i am under attack by a bh and someone brings in a 40 ton distraction that aoe disease on all of us it helps no one. Side note: had a bh ambush me on dath, fine and dandy, burst run over to my plans the nightsister, bh was not thier friend and wanted to have a chat with him. after wards the bh in question complimented on taking the chance that they would attack him and thus saving my gimpy hide.

Whoever posted "this deserves a cry more." must not have developed socially. Think about what you post before you post it. I'd report the guy offering you rides to be honest and I'd stick with it, send the screens in and follow through until SOE agrees to act on that. I really would. Afterall, you pay the same money to play this game as that jerk did, right? He is trying to ruin your gaming experience and that frankly ruins the game for all of us. Get that jerk out of the game.

-Hey SOE, here's a novel idea. Instead of trying to get new customers to replace the lost ones. Try fixing the bugs so you get new customers and KEEP the old ones too! Next time you delete a post that puts SOE in a bad light, think about giving us reasons to put you in a good light instead. ...you see when someone buys the game it means they want to like it. When they cancel an account it means you made someone who liked the game dislike it. How's that good business again?
Where does a 90% drop is customer base equal good business? SOE

What you did was a smart move. But there is a difference in that and helping a Jedi buddy out by intentionally pulling an aggro towards the BH. If the BH walks into a trap, that's the BH's fault. If you lead the aggro to the BH, then yes, that is considered grieving.
