I don't know how exactly they're changing sap, but as a sap user for all of the CU era, I can say that it's not as effective now as it used to be and I'm planning on dropping it eventually. This isn't because of some silent nerf, but because people have discovered how to get around their action bars with food/drink, spice, doc buffs, and pups.
They've also learned how to manage their action bar on their own, picking and choosing their moments to strike. So it's not what it was and at this point, I'd say it's yet another line of healer that's pretty useless.

Would be nice to have some testing from TC reported here on this matter.

Fern , I have gone back to MLS, EH 4404, H 4404 due to this.

I had a bud use it on me... so far its pretty usless on a guy with action regen food.

Most smart PvPer's have action regen food, so sap doesn't really hamper them

Anyone have specific stats on Force Sap from TC? I'm thinking of trading in the Sap line for Force Armor after the patch. Any thoughts?

Now that Pub 19 has been out for a while, what is the current status/usefulness of Sap? What about improved sap?

Also in the same line is shock which no one seems to mention. I know most of the comments say that food use has mitigated Sap, but what if you shock them first (to debuff the food/buff benefit) followed by Sap usage to drain mind and action? This seems like the only viable defense against CM's or Doc templates.

Everyone PvPs with food/spice, and usually doc buffs.

Improved sap pretty much negates them.

So I dropped it. I can think of lots of other things I could spend my 28sps on which would have use in PvE and PvP.
