Equipment
You will need:
Armor: The type of armor you use is already pre-determined by your profession choice. However, you will want that armor to be energy layered. As far as sliced armor goes, you will want a minumum of 20% armor break reduction sliced armor. I use 75% sliced myself, but that is not always realistic as not everyone cannot afford it.
Weapon(s): You will want your weapon to be damage cap'd and speed cap'd, with the rest put into SAC reduction. Contrary to most beliefs, a weapon that has the max damage cap'd is not damage cap'd. Damage cap'd refers to the minimum damage being cap'd as well. You will compensate for the SAC with a SAC powerup.
Additionally, if you are not a rifleman, carry a non-profession-certified rifle with the lowest speed and highest accuracy bonus you can get. This is used for long-range snares/roots and for blowing bikes. Do not underestimate how often you will need this.
Foods/Spices:
Booster Blue: Adds 600 health, +20% Action and Mind Regen, and -20% Health Regen
Blob Candy: Adds +185 Action Regen
Spiced Tea: Adds +185 Mind Regen
Synthsteak: Gives you a 30-second 45% damage reduction
Ruby Bliel: Allows you to use a stim every 30 seconds
Deuterium Pyro: Adds +190 Accuracy for 45 seconds
Aitha: Adds +17 Healing Effeciency
These are the only foods you will need. Many Bounty Hunters claim that defense and dodge foods will make a difference: their benefit outweighs the amount of stomach they use. Save your stomach for the bare necessities and kill the damn Jedi!
Powerups: You will use a SAC-reduction powerup 99% of the time. You can use a speed powerup, but you'll notice your action will drain quickly. Alternatively, you can keep 2 or 3 weapons in your inventory, each with a different powerup and switch between them at different times. ALWAYS keep 2 of each powerup in your inventory. You cannot pull powerups from a crate in combat.
Stims: You will need these! Get Stim-D's with 1000+ healing. You can use them while knocked-down. In addition, you can chain-eat a Ruby Bliel, then pop a tim repetitively until your stomach is full.

Hehe. There's nothing quite like the joy of friendly dueling a rifleman who roots you and still being able to disarm shot them and range/placed shot them until the root wears off. I found an advanced laser rifle for 2k on the bazaar with about 1k damage, 1.8 mod speed and 90 SAC. I just feel sorry for the poor guy who sold that one for 2k.

Just for a tid bit of info on duelist stance, that special acts exactly like force aura and center of being when it comes to damage malitagation. Against a jedi, its practically useless due to the high min damage on a jedis saber. however against a ranged profession duelist stance will knock out a nice chunk of damage from their strikes due to ranged weapons low min damage. duelist stance is great for when the jedi yanks out a rifle and starts shootin at you.

You do realize taking advantage of a known bug is considered an exploit, do you not?
Other than that, this was very informative, good info. Helps me know my enemy.
Lot of stuff in it that I would ahve never guessed.

Just stating what is done and can be done by every player in the game. When it is nerfed, CM's will have a big advantage.

Nice guide here, but two things I don't understand or have to disagree:
- Why do you talk about 8% mind usage when using Duelist Stance? It has _big_ action cost, but I for myself have no problems with mind. Considering the increase of action cost for CM/Doc you should mention high action cost rather mind cost.
- You advice using Torso Shot often (or at least twice to get additional bleeding damage on target), and also advice to use Critical Shot as "finishing attack". Well, in my experience with both as main attacks I'd say that the action cost of Torso Shot is _at least_ twice of Critical Shot's action cost! I would advice to mainly use Critical Shot; use Torso Shot only on weak targets and/or if you have way too much Action left ;P

Another awesome thing about torso shot is that it mulitplies elemental damage
Adv critical on a nyms or similiar high elemental dmg weapon will only use the 1.9 modifer on the non-elemental dmg of the weapon.
However toso will use the 2.0 modifer on both the non-elemental and elemental damage... so if you have elemental dmg.... torso / ranged combo is the best way to go

Considering we don't know if the current operation of this food is a bug or if the description is a bug.... I don't know how you can call this an exploit. If it allowed instant use of a stim AND it lasted for 16 min like it is supposed to... then I would consider this an exploit. But since the use of this drink has both a positive and negative effect that varies from what it is described as, I would say it's Impossible to call using this this drink in such a manner as an exploit.
Further more..... with my former mentioned template (MBH / MPist / Carb 0440) I would actually have liked ruby to act the way it is described... I would actually be able to get MORE heals off during a fight and worry less about when I can stim due to stomach room for drinks.
Until a Dev says that the food is broken and we should not use it like that, it is not a known exploit and we have no way of knowing if we are right or wrong in using it.
But..... I will say that if you do NOT use it this way you will be handicapping yourself in a fight..... AND if indeed it is not functioning as desired (assuming the described effect is correct) you will not get banned or even warned of exploiting for 2 reasons.
- No Dev / CSR / Correspondant has ever condemned the used of this drink in this manner.
- SOE will NOT ban the majority of it's players for this
So.... if you want to try to count to 30 after you use a ruby bliel before you use the next stim, be my guest...... I'll be blazing away downing stims and bliel.

Too bad this guide doesn't cover how to beat a MPowers/MDefender Jedi which is a ranged BH's worst nightmare apparently.
