Yes Im in FoE

Did we go to the trails yeasterday and out damage rebels on every instance?... yes.

Did a CSR come to the trails and boot those said rebels that where sitting in the LOS spot watching us grind?.. yes

Would I do it again?.... Hell Yes!

Wana file a ticket on me for Griefing/harasment because I stole your spot?.. go ahead.. but before you do read your holo and make sure you find out what you can file a ticket for... cause KSing isnt it.

If I could I would get all BHs on the server to do this everyday this week... no Double XP for jedis on the trail.. that would be sexy.

After reading your post, I am sure you did it to grief the players already there, even if it is notconsidered a "harassment" or "grief" in the eyes of SOE. Common courtesy would be if a full group is grinding xp, jedi or not, to go to a different instance with your group. If there is enough room you could have grouped up.Tostart grindingthere with 4 riflemen with the intention to keep the other players, who were there before you, from gaining xp is definetly griefing in my book.

Just because they were there first ones there that does not give them exclusive rights to that spawn point and yes we did "take" it from them and no it is not griefing to do so. It is mybelief that for theseJedito own aspawn point they would have to earn itand keep it theirs by out damageing the other group. This might not be "fair" to the lossing group but it is a fact of life.

Kash has turned into one big joke of a planet - no droids (I dont might that) Jedi Red Roof Inns on every instance of the webeaver trails (I dont mind that), LoS dead zones (this pisses me off but I dont blame them for using it, I just /bug it). THe constant duel / end duel macros that you are hit with ... (wonders if this is a bug or if it is as the dev's planed)

My point is that now Jedi think they own those spawn points and actually get very bent out of shape if someone comes there and starts to grind - Hell I have even see them turn away other Jedi even when thier group was not full (faction thing maybe) so you can guess what sort of reaction any non-jedi receive when they get there.

I think things will change when evrything is sorted out and "working as intended" is actually working as the dev's intended. No more LoS obstructions for anyone to hide in, no more dropping of houses during combat to avoid a BH thus alowing everyone involved to actually enjoy the thrill of the hunt , the fight and the kill and if you dont have the stomach for it well maybe you have chosen the wrong profession be that BH or Jedi.

Now heres a hypothethical case in point I want to bring up. Lets say thata group of 5 or 6 went down to the trails to grind. and they are coming up to the bridge that leads down into the village when they are spotted by another group that is already there.

Now lets say thatthis other group of is comprised of 7 or 8 Jedi who are grinding xp and when they saw our group approaching most of themrun over to one of the LoS zones to see if we are BH's with their missions - would that be considered abandoning the spawn point if we just keep on moving into the village and take up the spot they just vacated?

I was on the trails all weekend, we started onSaturday with a mixed group, a couple more guys came down we formed on big group and ground xp all night, with some leaving to trade in xp in the village and new players rotating in. I know that on Sunday I was there in a full group and 8 other people formed a group in another instance, so on my server all the instances are not packed.

You admitted that you and your group were trying to grief the jedi group. Fact is that no one owns the spawn point, but generally is a group is already working the spot you should find a new spot, whether it is a group of Jedi or not. If your same group of 4 made it to acklay and were waiting for her to spawn, would you consider it griefing if a group of 8 came in just before it spawned and outdamaged you?

Your post turns into the same old dribble, my droids dont work, jedi use LOS bugs, Jedi duel me to see if I have a mission, Jedi are afk macroing..etc. I hate to break it to you, but Jedi are not the only ones using the spot for xp, they are not the only ones that use the LOS bugs and not everyone there is afk.

Just because you are allowed to do something does not mean you should.

OK here is how it works

There are 2 different things at play here

Mobs

and area.

Area:

No one owns an area, and anyone can go to the are to grind. If there are 150000 groups in one area it is not against the rules.

Mobs:

If my group is attacking wookie A, and you come over and start shooting wookie A because you know that you can outdamage us, and make it so we get no XP for the kill then that is kill stealing, and is considered harrassment. This action is not allowed by SOE.

Kill Stealing, while it is a despicable act in any game, is quite legal in SWG.

Over and over and over and over, the devs and the CSRs have said "NO ONE OWNS A SPAWN"

The Krayt you found, if somoene outdamages you, tough cookies

Lord Nayax, borgle bat cave, akuanan cave, Fort Tusken any otherspot that I have never heard of for good XP or loot, not yours. You hold it buy doing the most damage, you get the XPor the loot by having the biggest group and doing the most damage.

So it has been, so it shall be.

Agree that is the way it has been in SWG...up until the yellow part. I would not be surprised if in the near future they introduce a first hit and it is yours type deal.

If you BHs are so bent out of shape about Jedi grinding the trail, go grind there yourselves. Sadly, it only takes 2-3 BHs to outclass a whole group of Jedi in total damage output on a CL80-82 mob.

How do I know? Because my groups there always include 1 rifleman or MBH, and they get the aggro because they do the most damage by far. I would say a team of 4 MBH (24 total) could shut down Jedi grinding on Kash on each server. There is no exploit for going down there and grinding, so do it yourself.

You can deny all Jedi on your server this spot if you could simply work together, like the Jedi in groups are doing when they stand around for aminute each putting out 400 damage every 2-5 seconds on a single target for 1600-2200 XP during double XP week. /gasp! The sploiters.

No its not... like i said check the rules on what SOE considers harrassment, this is not it. They tell you they will not respond to any complaints on Kill Stealing... How do I know, its happend to me in fort Tuskan a hundred times by Jedi there.

It is not griefing. Those instances are quest oriented and anyone can use them. Kill stealing is harassment though. If you start shooting a one of those feralwalking chia pets the Jediare already shooting at, it can be considered harassment. They dont have exclusive rights down there. If I were you, create a ticket if you find Jedi using the LOS exploit. Maybe with any luck a csr can head down there and clearthem out.
