when they got rid of tefs, to eliminate forced pvp it was hypocritical to leave the current bh / jedi system in.
When they nerfed jedi to the same or less in some cases of swordsman / bh's the forced pvp was obsolete.
This is a great move!

Once again NO ONE FORCED YOU TO PICK UP A SABER. It seems to me you just want your cake and eat it to, affter all do you partipate in the GCW?

sure do, and killed plenty of bh along the way...
It was forced pvp, if you force your play style upon me.............. it is FORCED.

I really think your missing the point or just wanting to admit it. I am glad the GCW is the main focus or atleast so it seems anyway. The issue i have with lot of players is that no matter what there going to find something to complain about, i dont really care about PC's being gone kinda nice not having to look over my shoulder. Some people will find something else to complain about in the new system, like i bet we see alot of people complaining about elder benifits and such.

And nobody forced BH's to actually take Jedi missions... but once they did, the conditions were set for forced pvp.
An no one forced you to be a jedi, it was a choice that you made just as myself did. We both knew what we where getting into, do they 13 year old "tards" that like to yell pawnz and newb make it all that much fun, no it doesnt. The fact of the matter is before anyone became a jedi they knew what they where getting into.

And I could just as easily say, nobody forced any player to become BH and take Jedi missions... it doesn't change the fact, it was still forced pvp. No matter how you try to justify it or rationalize it, it was forced pvp. They could have had NPC BH's coming after a Jedi, something like that would *not* have entailed forced pvp.

Who forced you to become a jedi? If you wernt a jedi then you would have never of had that problem, Im not going to lie i enjoy pvp, they GCW has been my focus for a long time now and i use my commando/bh alt for it most of the time. It was never about power for me thats why i have more fun with my commando.

And who forced BH's to become BH's? And to take Jedi missions?
Some people wanted Jedi in spite of the flawed game mechanics, it's a good thing that SOE/LA realized that the game mechanics were flawed, and they have now fixed one of the worst flaws -- forced pvp.

you are compareing jedi to normal proffesions in the old system which you cant do, they just dont match up.

But Jedi is now going to be a "normal profession", therfore it's a moot point, unless you want to endlessly dwell on the past.

Yup, if i had my choice id go back to pre-cu though and i was a gimped master commando but i loved it. There is a saying you remind me of "he who cry's loudest". I forsee you just finding something else to complain about in the new system, instead of adapting and going with the system you wanna cry to have changed to fit your liking.

You're wrong -- again. As many flaws as the old game had, I still had fun, I enjoyed my Jedi, I enjoyed my alt. I think things will potentially be much, much better now that forced pvp is a thing of the past.
Will there be things I won't like? Probably yes, but I won't let it ruin my enjoyment of the game.

I think the new system will be good as well, im more of a run and gun player thats why i play my commando most of the time. Jedi was just never really for me and ive been one for over a year, i just never really enjoyed beating things with a stick, even if it was a glowing one.
