hah, I was like that oh soo long ago. But once you do it one time..or your first successful kill, you will become addicted. Have you ever successfully stalked a npc mark and literally felt yourhands shaking and your blood flowing a little faster due to anticipation? No dumb NPC AI markcan ever do that. But it happenswhen up against otherplayers, particularly your first few stalks...soon after you calm down but there is nothing comparable to the feeling of a successful stalk and kill on a pc jedi in this game.

it's the thrill of the hunt..

Got my first kill yesterday, and talk about an adrenelline rush... no way hunting NPCs even compares with real people. I'm hooked.

report them if they use the duel thingy,ALOT of jedi use it against me i have a alt bh,i just delete the mission right away usualy they call me a upssy sinse i wont fight them..butsinse i know how hard it is to deafeat a full template jedi i see no point in doing a duel against them.......

what i think its even more sad is that full template jedi with a pre cu saber does it to,they are the worst imo they say things like i pwn y0 4a2h073 but they need todo a exploit to do it...

i have goten to full template with no exploiting got killed lost xp lost a saber to critical failure and what i see now as a bh is sad...and tbh its getting worse for every jedi i try to hunt

i also have to say there are still some verry sporty jedi out there, and if youre a full template try and run instead of exploiting

I really don't understand some Jedi, or I should say the people that play them. Yesterday I jumped a Jedi that was riding by on his swoop. I managed to cut him off perfectly. Destroyed his swoop and laid him on his back. I started racking up damage when he got up with a sliver of health. Then he Cloak'd and was gone. I immediately dropped the mission and left. I am not playing Cloak games with Jedi.

Anyway, he sends me tells about how I need to respect swoops and this and that. Respect a swoop?? Still don't get that one. I informed him that it is a valid tactic to disable any means a jedi has to escape. He then told me to get some friends (not sure what that meant either), to which I replied he is the one traveling in a pack, I am the solo BH. After that I asked him why a 15K swoop upset him so much when he obviously had enough cash to outfit his Jedi to which he laughed at me and said he gets swoops for free from a friend. He then laughed at me for having to pay for swoops. All this while I was on my BARC.

I just stopped responding after that. I have no idea what that kid was thinking or his reasoning. Sometimes you just don't ask questions.

You could have some fun with this. when ever you get his mission just blast his swoop and leave. I would do that every time. HeckI just might go overt and blast his swoops cause im having a bad day.

lol yea, trust me. After I started getting /tells from this guy I was wishing I had kept his mission.

You hit the nail on the head right there buddy. I've never had so much fun in this game as I did when I got my first kill. Nothing has even come close to that. I've gotten plenty of badges, done plenty of quests, met some great people, explored the planets, flied in space...NOTHING has come close to stalking my prey. I love coming up with new tactics that catch my mark off guard. I love standing above a fallen Jedi and seeing that 200K reward popup on my screen. There is nothing like that rush ingame for me.

It's not that jedi are hypocrites, it's that people in general are hypocrites.

My roommate and I have had running battles with people lately who are saying things like "After what he said about assassinating the president of Venezuela, maybe Pat Robertson should be executed."

Hypocrites are everywhere.

Violation of the TOS? I don't think so pal, this "annoyance" is called stalking and for a BH, it IS part of our job.

You don't get to choose when a BH attacks you.

So last night I'm out hunting Jeds. I fly out to Lok, and track my mark. I get within about 150m and lay on cover and start to move in. Unfortunatley a swarm of Gurks spawn 15m away and break my cover. Well, the Jedi and his group spot me and rush over. A couple Jedi use the /duel exploit as does my mark. He says, "I know you've got my mission. I tried to duel you."

No kidding?

So I tell them that I'm not going to attack and that I'll come back later. I've lost my first strike. I hop on my Barc and say, "Good hunting," trying to be a polite BH. But then the entire group starts labeling me a pu$$y because I won't attack head on. Even low level toons were saying, "Just attack you wuss." I told them that if they wanted to sit here and tell me to attack, all the while the jedi's vis is going up, then it was fine with me. I was going to leave.

Then they say they will report ME!!! Wth, what have I done? I offered to leave!

So after a few more minutes of calling me various names, I say, "Listen, if a BH whines about not being able to kill Jedi, he is countered by Jedi saying 'Don't attack guns-a-blazin or when the Jedi is ready, use tactics.'"

All of a sudden the group got silent until one guy said, "Good point." More silence followed by, "Ok, well, we'll see ya later."

After that, no hate tells. Do jedi even realize how hypocritical they can be?

Did you ever think about the fact that they were using a tactic? It's called "make your enemy rush you in anger." Sounds like when they realized that you wouldn't do so, they stopped trying to make you angry.

Stalking is the part where you get to find where he is, if he KNOWS you are there that is no longer stalking. That is hovering and is indeed a violation of the TOS. I never said I get to choose, but if you blow your cover or come up gunz a blazin its your own fault and you shouldn't punish the jedi because YOU lost your surprise. (in the case of the NPC spawn thats no ones fault and I would suggest leaving and coming back in 10 min)

Your job is to HUNT and KILL your mark. BH are not always killing jedi (NPC Marks). So no, unless your an Imperial Jedi Assassin, a BH's job is to kill his mark and NOTHING MORE. If your not trying to kill the jedi all your doing is harassing him and making the situation more volitile - which is against the TOS.

EDIT: Also, if its your personal responsibility to kill jedi then you are no longer a BH, your a vigilante. Also, I tell you this not to be aggressive, but BHs on Corbantis have gotten in trouble for this.

Nowhere in the description of BH can I see something stating that you MUST attack when surprise is lost. In military circles, attacking at a disadvantage when you can disengage and reengage at your whim is called 'stupidity'.

I've fought Grymace, and I'm NOT one of the 20 jedi he's killed. Trust me, if he doesn't get surprise, he's toast.

When did I say you had to attack? If your not going to attack leave and come back when they least expect you. Standing there just to annoy them is what I was refering to.

I don't think you can place all jedi into one, just like "Whining BH's" not all BH's do. Not a Jedi act like asshats.

Kinda bugs me to see many individuals being cramed into one label, because of their profession.
