Thread: Slicing terminals
NO!
Containers get you a lot more XP.
By the way, while we are on this subject, exactly how much more money does slicinga terminal get you?
I just wish all the missions for the next 2 mins would be increased payout.. Since if you go to Endor, you're not likely to get what you're looking for on the first try, and you have to wait two minutes until you can reslice for increased payouts.
Blah.
So no! I don't lol but i know it will have a two minutes pause between slices
I dont have anymore containers and dont want to waste my
cash on more.
Nice to have a 2 minute delay while i slice a termainal for
the 8th failure.
Am I missing something, or has SWG forgot that a game is fun,
not a absolutley excessively boring chore.
**edit**.... factory work is more exciting than this.
Check the dictionary on the meaning of game.....
One mother **edit**ing pissed player.
Since money seems to be an issue, you must not have any molecular clamps or Fans.
Without Molecular Clamps or Fans, you should be hitting around 50% success rate. Pick a wire, go with it, then cut the other wire afterwards.
If you CAN afford molecular clamps, then if you READ THE PANELS, you should have 100% success.
If you use a Fan, I believe the expected success rate is 75%.
I have been about 1/8 for the past 2 days.
Its driving me insane. I'll try to find
some clamps cuz i cant make them at the moment,
at least my draft schematic says i cannot.
If you're on Eclipse, I'll be glad to give you a crate to get you going, because they can be pricey. Most people sell them for 7K - 10K for a crate of 25 on Eclipse. If you want to make your own, be ready: Each clamp takes 50 Metal + 40 NON-Ferrous Metal. Non-ferrous means can't be iron or steel. So Copper or ALuminum is fine for that 40 metal, then any metal for the 50.
ALSO: If you do get some clamps, let me stress again: READ THE PANELS!
One of the biggest Newb mistakes is thinking that all you have to do is use the clamp! NO!... All you have to do is read the panels AFTER you use the clamp, and always cut BOTH WIRES.
( Can you tell this gets annoying to us old-timers after a while?
)

Send me an in-game email or /tell to Shi if you're on Starsider and I will donate a crate of clamps to you.
