Thread: Publish 21- White Conned Marks

It seems to happen if I take too long on tracking a mark that suddenly shifts 2-3K in an opposite direction, my last one was standing 400m outside Kaadara and was unattackable after tracking it down towards Dee'ja Peak.

Actually the marks with the white tags/brackets for me were level 81. The ones with the yellow tags/brackets were level 82.

I was grouped accidentally with another BH yesterday. We split up he went to his mark i went to mine on Bestine. On the way to my mark a yellow arrow came up saying closet mission for group. It did this several times until i found my mark about 50m from the droid waypoint. I went to attack but could not do so. His name was all white. All My droids found him as my mark. But I was not able to kill him. I dropped it and went to my next mission which brought me to the outskirts of Rori where i was about 250 yards from anything but my target and then i get a mission failed.

just for info it was a very usuall get mission, hop one time to starport and drive to npc mark. no long pauses or logging out or multiple shuttle hops

The more info, the easier it will be to track this down


At first this bounty was approx 4km from dant mining outpost when i arrived, so i got close to the point where the AKY droid wp was and released a seejker droid. notised that target was now headed in opposite direction. I continued to chase target back to Dant mining outpost, and once reached noticed what was at the WP was a commoner. so i released another seeker, and still contues to show WP as on the commoner(un attackable).

I had a white con mark the reason was because it was a shared mark by me and some one else my wp lead to the mark of another person and I wasnt able to attack just the other person he also said his wp showed a location about 500m away from there but it counted it as his mark it was on talus

Note: NPC was attackable until droid updated last known waypoint. Waypoint moved 88m, npc did not and then con'd white.

Was at first a no-show outside of Theed about 2000m away. After traveling there on my bike, my droid updated hiswp and located it 2000m back the opposite direction in the city of Theed.Talk about frustrating so I go back to Theed and go to thewp, hit tab and it targets "a commoner" ??? I use another seeker droid to make sure I'm not seeing things, and after a little bit it comes back with the same NPC name as my mission had, but the wp leads to "a commoner". I searched all over the city, tabbing and tabbing, to try to find my mark but no where to be found. I couldn't attack the commoner of course so I dropped the mission.


I didn't report this in game asa /bug and I should have. Sorry about that Tanks.


Anyways..just FYI on this little bug.

    Took the mission from a terminal in Dearic on Talus. Arrived on Yavin IV after update from Arakyd. Launched a seeker on 'track' - mission waypoints updated but mark was not moving. While travelling to waypoint mark seemed to 'warp' to near my location. Went to find mark, he conned white, got message - Invalid Target-.
