I love the idea of special jedi missions. But they shouldn't be about payout. These things a jedi needs not.

yes,but ifthe jedi has been killed recently the payout would be 25K and 50K for padawan and knight respectivly. Payouts also go beyond 226K as the knight ascends the ranks.

the 1k per skill pt is correct, but here's a little guide that might help out. It's not perfect and it assumes the jedi is following trends in leveling up, the prices i offer are ones that are fairly common on the terminals, for prices in between you can use your imagination as to the skills they might have...

25k - well this jedi doesn't know what vis is, or they think that novice lightsaber can kill a BH, bottom line is that they are just a jedi padawan in name but don't be fooled, they usually pack a pretty good combat template and if they have the time to put armor on and grab a weapon, they might skin you alive.

54k - This jedi usually has some novice boxes and like lightsabers 0030, 0021 or some odd combination therein. Again, they still have a good non jedi template, unless you get the average moron that dropped all their skills when they hit padawan or its an artisan that managed to have a group kill Mellichae for them while they sat there threatening him with a crafting kit.

100k - Typical template at this price will have either force run 1, LS 004x (could be 0040 - 0044) and possibly some healer like 1000 or 2000. The important note is if they have 1000 they can heal their health, action or mind 500 at a time even on their back. But most combat classes can out damage that 500 in the time it takes a jedi to heal that.

130k - Most likely has sabers 0044, might even have 4004, key thing here is to catch them hunting, polearm sabers are better to see than singles cause they will be going after your mind if its a single. They will also have some good healer or enhancer skills. I think the average template at this price will be LS 0044, Healer 2003, Enhancer 0002 or something like that.

150k - This starts to get sticky. A true jedi grinder will be close to, if not master lightsaber. But that's a rare breed, i don't think too many players will completely grind to MLS without drifting into the other trees. So most likely you're going to be facing someone with like LS 3044, healer 400x, enhancer 0002, the rest dumped into powers or defender depending on their template. There's not too many powers you will need to fear and chances are the defender trees will be useless at this level to them. You're also at the end (for the most part) of the feign death jedi. Smart jedi would have dropped all that smuggler stuff for novice brawler and medic at this point.

170k - Well they probably have MLS, its just about a given. There are at least 10% of the jedi population that does not have MLS as part of their template and will most likely have 4004 sabers, but these guys also usually pack a lot of healing or defending if they are worth this much and not MLS. Either way, it can be a tricky fight for ranged BH's, but for melee its just another walk in the park.

190k - This template is getting pretty close to completion, the thing to watch for is that they are at a point where they kind of stop caring about vis, usually cause they hunt in groups of jedi or mixed faction groups. This is the start of the gank warfare price range and in my opinion gets boring.

205k - A common jedi template includes novice brawler now for their intimidation (since it works better than jedi intimidation). Basically anything in the 200k+ range is a group battle (group of 2 if one is melee). But I just wanted to point out that a lot of PvP jedi stop at this price point with no interest in the FRS and rather than get more jedi powers, they keep novice brawler.

225k - Finished template most likely, there's the scattered 226k but for the most part this jedi is going to be tough. If they're on the terms a lot, they know how to fight and are probably standing in the middle of a handful of equal level jedi friends.

325k - FRS ranked jedi start climbing high up in price but are no harder to kill at this price than at 225k, the only catch is that they did not earn this price without becoming experienced in PvP. I promise you a hard, but fun battle, the only catch is that the number of friends you might need to group with makes it more of a headhunt than profitable venture, unless you have a private bounty.

Hope this helps a bit.

If you se a mission where the thousands place is odd, more than likely he is MLS.

So if you see a mission at 200k, that means he has yet to master anything in jedi. But a 208k means he has mastered 2. If you see a 153k mission, look out, he has masterd a skill and more than likely it's lightsabers. I think up to 206k means the jedi has yet to master a skill if the number in the thousands place is even.

As a ranged bh (and a good one) i have beaten 206k missions, but i loose to 161k missions. odd isnt it? The 206k did not have MLS but the 161 did

lol, be prepared to die when u get ur Jedi mission. 1st, cuz u may be inexperienced. 2nd, its rare that you will find a weak paddy these days due to group visible removal). 3rd, inexperianced newbi MBH will just drive up to a full template jedi and start shooting... result... death in 30sec or less...
