Oh - andthe really goodtemplate:

Best Template Ranged imo is

MBH

Master Carbineer

Combat Medic 0400

With this template you need a Healing Effectivness Droid 110

That will give you heals = to a 4000 combat medic if you have +25 Healing Efficiency

So now youre actually MBH,MCARBS, CM 0400

I have had great success with this template and of course teh best equipment!

Highly recommended - tombfire nailed it.

How does the healing droid work how close does he have to be to you for it to work. Also is it worth loosing the advanced bacta toss and spray? I understand why you took the warfare line, it has the fire dot, but I'm worried about the jedi taking out the droid and then I'd be as good as dead, or am I way off?

Hate to bring up an old post, but i thought i would try in here. I'm thinking of dabbling with my current template; MBH MRifles CM4000 to MBH MRifles Pistoleer 0003 Medic 0020.

I'm wanting the root from pistoleer because it seems to me everytime i'm winning i tend to get rooted and the Mark runs off. Is the healing ok with clothing, tapes and a droid active? (i also use a health buff crystal, doc buffs, booster blue, pyro, vegeparsine and vercupti to hit up for around 6.3k health give or take).

What was your template? Master BH / Master Pistols / Combat Medic 4000

What else did you wish you had? 10 billion dollars =)

Your favorite specials. root .. duh =P umm.. i like disarming shot and critical shot alot alot =)

Your favorite weapon. High CAP Scatter Pistol

Which is better? Offense template, defense template, accuracy template, speed template etc., etc.

the best defence is a good offence...

I wanted to run this by the veteran BH's out there and get there input.

First, a caveat - this template is built around ranged accuracy and affording some versatility in tactics. I have no idea how it may play out in-game. That's why I'm picking your brains. Unfortunately, max CL is 78 w/ this skill dispersal.

Master Marks| MBH | 0400 Carb | 0404 Pistoleer | 4000 Rifleman | 3400 Combat Prowess

Now, as I said before, this only lands a CL of 78, however, it does provide:

+269 General Ranged Accuracy

+67 General Ranged Speed

+40 Pistol Accuracy (+309 total)

+25 Pistol Speed (+92 total)

+65 Carbine Accuracy (+334 total)

+30 Carbine Speed (+97 total)

+85 Rifle Accuracy (+354 total)

+30 Rifle Speed (+97 total)

~ Additionally, it also provides +155 melee defense & +185 Ranged Defense.

So how does this stack up post CU? I'm a returning player and everything seems quite different now. Your input is appreciated.

I've just come back after a year of... let's say extended vacation. I was MBH/Pistols when I left, and am still tyring to use this template. (Although I have added CM 4-0-0-0) I can't seem to get my CL above 72 because of the points tied up in force-crap. PVE is a joke because I have been able to kill DJMs & DJKs fairly easily. Their CL's are 84 to 112. But, PvP has been very trying. Even for a CL 78. I was wondering if anyone had any good tips for post-cu pvp? My FG5 is dmg and SAC capped with speed around 1.7. I was using Ubese armor until today when I found out what a hinderence was. I bought a full set of BH armor with the last bit of my pre-cu duckets, but who wants to grind BH missions in a set of armor that costs that much?

Any suggestions would be helpful. I've only been back about a week and a half to two weeks, so I still feel lost.

Thank you.

I've taken the plunge and am currently grinding BH. My current template is MR, MCH, and BH 0004. Here's the stickler... I want to keep MCH. I will most likely run BH missions for NPC marks and not Jedi (anytime soon at least) so assuming I will have MBH and MCH at some point, what should fill out the rest of my template? I'm torn between some CM or Rifles... or perhaps more Medic. So far, the CL 80 or above missions I'm pulling as a Novice or relatively simple and healing isn't needed that much, but I'm assuming at MBH, the NPC's will be alot tougher. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have MBH/MCarbs and Pistols 0-0-0-4 and I really like it. It does good Dmg and the Roots and Snares are very nice. I do however wish there was armor that does better against Energy dmg while also having Slots for attachments.

Meeyah, I have the MCH/MBH template. Once you hit the elites you need healing. I have 4,0,0,0 CM. I can heal for well over 1000 every few seconds. Many times I don't even need to fight. I usually sit close to my pets and just heal them. I am able to take the 36K marks very easily. You may not need the CM now but any good template now, especailly for PvP and harder PvE needs it to last.

That's very reassuring information, thankyou! A little off-topic, what kind of pet or pet combination do you find most effective?

Nowaak stated in his post that MBH/MSL/CM 4000 was a great templete and he is right. I use this same templete myself, well still working on the Master BH/SL part, but it is by far the most versatile templete out there. Allowing you to be just as leathal in solo or group missions, plus all the extras of both as far as weapons and skills go. However, it is also just as important to note that there are 1 or 2 drawbacks......can we say TARGET....because that is what you are in group missions...not so much if you are just shooting your gun, but if you start to use SL and CM skills combined...be ready for your armor to take a beating and your mind pool to start to become a useless waste. By far the hardest part of Mastering BH and SL is the large amount of Combat XP you have to have. But that is where the fun comes in...cause you are never without something to do. On average I'm logged in for about 6-8 hours a day, and unless you are in a spinning group it can take quite a while to master both professions. I have found that if you concentrate on SL first you benefit the group and then you can grind out the pistol/carb/rifle for BH. Leaving you with Invest.....by the way I hate grinding that tree.....lol. This is however, by far still the best and most effective templete available as well as the most rewarding and most challenging. I would reccommend this templete to anyone.

With MBH/MSL, cm 4000 I had no problems with jedi. Yes I had no root but I had so musch defence , speed and accuracy I still often beat them ( not always lol ) . I simply reapply the underhand shot every 30 seconds or so to keep em down. then unload on them. I was doing like 800dps because both mbh, and msl have general mods. so while they are down go nuts woth power sahots like critical, and torso. also with no root you must use your confuse, and eye shot as much as possible. Keep moving as well. Once the SL revamp comes in you will have armor bypass ( similar to armor break). You wil also be able to boost your armor. I resently changed to MBH/MCM carbs 0400. I like both templates about the same. I only switched becasue I am the third in command in my guild and like to be able to heal my team. I find my current template a bit stronger in pvp. However mbh/msl is more well rounded if you dont want to JUST do pvp. And after the revamp you will have many new skills as sl. I love my new template of MBH/MCM, carbs 0400, simply because I do a lot of pvp with jedi. But if you like diversity you will love SL, I know I did. Have fun!
