Thread: not sure i got the stomach for BHing...

so today i decide to take a low level mark, to try and score my first jedi kill....i find out he's grinding on dantooine...so i head out there, stalk this guy to 3 different camps, then find him, he's 3 CL lower than me...so i assumed this would be a good fight. i cover, then sneak up within rifle range, pop aim, sniper shot, jump up blind shot, critical shot...dude drops....im like...wth, i DB him...and hop on my speeder and run off....no hate tells....his friends didn't try to help him...i ride off thinking...dude was just grinding exp...prolly a nice guy, and i just set him back quite a bit..
would have been alot easier to take had he cussed me out or tried to get help from his friends...
anyone else feel like this?
Those are the people that you take out once, and maybe come after them when they have more skills. Or even send them a /tell five minutes later"/bow for being respectfull", you would be surprised how many of the 'quite' jediappreciate it is reconized.Believe me, take a few more marks and you will know who needs to be hunted based on their actions. This is one that kills me about pub20 ( not that it is gonna stop me from hunting) that BH will no longer be able to target jedi that keep writing checks their butt's can't cash. I think 'grieving' to often is defined as someone having a loud mouth and after their foot gets packed in there good and tight they cry about, and what pub20 is doing are the resaults. Just my .02c
What sucks is now I can not avoid what I consider to be respectfull jedi, they will now recieve the short end of the stick, thanks to the bad apples in their prof.

I totally agree! And I've been a Jedi much longer than a BH. This statement above is about 50% of the reason why I converted my strictly-crafting altto aBH (the other 50% is to 'study' the enemy and see what it's like on their sideof the fence).Message Edited by wookie-mart on 07-13-2005 03:31 PM

2 days later.....and i have still yet to find a mark to kill...i have no idea if BHing is still even for me, i can't find a damn jedi to kill....im beginning to think pub20 might be good jsut so you only have jedi that are online to choose from.
spent 2 hours staring at the terminal today trying to find a jedi online, i can't take a 225k mark as im still trying to finish out MR, but i was trying anything 180k and under....and i found 2 people in kashyyk, and the rest were offline.
so i go hunt for a bit, get a few more rifleman boxes, group breaks up, i head to the terminal spend another hour looking for a jedi online and not on kashyyk, finally find out grinding on dantooine, i port over there, soon as i get to the MO....he logs off....
2 days i've yet to find a mark i could even hunt, let alone battle with, how do you guys stand this? im getting sick of staring at mission terminals to be honest.

nope. burn them. burn thier faces first. they can always grind, and with pub20 they can grind in groups
kan'aque farsee Its your choice... but there are a few voices of reason that have spoken up. Hunt a few Jedi, find the ones that are decent and don't hunt them for a while... and those that are jerks, have fun hunting them at your own leisure And no, this advice won't help everyone... but actually, most bounty hunters that have come after me go by the same code. Win or lose, I act decent to them. Sure, sometimes I get a little upset... but yelling at the hunter doesn't do any good. And about the bike thing... wow. Just the other day a bounty hunter left their bike out before they attacked me, and after DBing him I reminded him to store his bike next time. There are bad apples on both sides... but try and remember there are good people as well. If you kill the good people, they'll understand. If you kill a jerk... they deserve it. So my advice: maybe its not for you, or maybe you just need to try it more.
But what do I know? I'm a Jedi, so I must be a backstabbing exploiter
