You know perfectly well that Jedi's names used to be on the terminals... that did not change until very recently, and only then, only because it was necessary to prevent griefing against specific players...
Please dont talk to me about griefing. Have 16-20 people on you for ONE bounty mission, then them going to clone camp you because of bugged tef and causing permadeath because there were no force shrines. Then talk to me about greifing.
So you are saying some types of griefing are worse than others? If one of us is griefed, then all of us are griefed... stop trying to sound like a martyr.

Dude that is not true.
You are right. I didn't really puke, and the number was more like 98.75%. So I rounded.
I was on TC for 12 hours today. The jedi population, with absolutely no exaggeration was maybe at 40% (still alot) but please stop exaggerating

Trying to stay free of visibility was an option for someone who was not yet full-template, but after that, there is absolutely no way to enjoy 90% or so of the game's content without gaining visibility... surely you don't really need me to point this out to you. Yet you are quite happy advocating that players of a certain profession be forbidden from enjoying the game content - the quests, missions, dungeons, etc. - or be subjected to forced pvp.
That is why the system has been changed... so that Jedi will no longer have to worry about forced pvp, visibility, or sanctioned griefing. It's gonna be great, with player bounties eliminated.
Not to be rude, but why keep shooting yourself in the foot with your responses? Didn't we also have visibility removed from others in your group at the same time the names were removed from the terminals? So you are telling me that you would head up to the Corvette and then leave the group to get vis? Sounds like you need to re-evaluate your gameplay. As I said, I know quite a few Jedi who stayed off the terms, and none of them complained about not getting to do any decent content. Jedi who did not wish to PVP just had to be somewhat intellegent about who they did things with after the group vis was removed. That was part of the profession from the beginning and if you didn't know that when you went Jedi, you didn't pay attention to the pros and cons of the profession.
I'd also say most of the Jedi I know actualy PREFER PVP to taking on NPC's. That was one of the reasons they chose Jedi in the first place since the profession was so strong, even with the grind taking so long.

That's because the carebear here will NOT have our playstyle forced onto her!! Even though she has no problems forcing her playstyle on those of us who enjoyed the whole BH/Jedi relationship.
I start playing this game around 2 years ago, in 4 month i purchase second account, then CU hits.
I was angry and frustated but i manage to adapt new system. SOE started to advertise this ToOW and i pre-ordered it and thinking it cannot be bad as RotW was.
Well suprise, ToOW is actually were good, much better than RotW. Then SOE release this new about NGE...i read again and again and thinking, well it can be good.
Then i tryed to log on TC and every server was totally full. Finally i get in and OMG i didn't belive my eyes....this can't be true. What kind of BS is this.
Well definetly i will cancel my both accounts and stop playing totally SWG or any other SOE/LEC games from this point.
I have been cheated big time and i won't forget. When NGE comes alive server's will be empty and this game is dead.
Happy life with my 30$ which you have cheated from me but those where last money i ever pay.
Nothing more to say, i'm speakless, angry and frustated. Flaw if you wanna but test it on TC and check it with our own eyes, it will be amazing how stupid this game will be.
Make a macro "left mouse button, left mouse button, left mouse button, F1,left mouse button, right mouse button and so on and you will be fine in combat.
Thank you and have fun if anyone likes.

Well I'll admit there are tons of Jedi on tc but I think it's important to remember a few things here. Jedi is the most solid melee prof now. It also based around melee and it is FORCE SENSITIVE, not just Jedi. Granted several of these people will be using lightsabers but the option to use any melee weapon with force powers is still there. I think a lot of the old melee players just flocked to Jedi because it tends to suit their playstyle better. Once this hits live I think you'll see a lot more power hammer swinging force choking people that don't wear those little robes, but I could be wrong. The robes will become more like the novice clothes we see now and once people take an individual look and weapon style maybe it won't be so bad.
hate to break it to you, but from what i heard the powerhammer is removed... there is a list in the trader section of the NGE boards, that list all the weapons that got removed. i suggest looking at it, and hug the weapons that might be gone.

I never really had a problem with the number of jedi running around but it was a little disheartening to see all of them on TC. Maybe if they got rid of the padawan robes. Sounds silly, but I think it would help my immersion factor.
Robes, no robes, dress wearing, bikinis, whatever they wear. They are still evil Jedi assasins that the Emperor has ordered us to kill. Dirty dirty vermin they are....
Pussycat you must be one of those carebear jedi, you know the coward who runs and hides in a house whenever a BH comes. Jedi get hunted, plain and simple that was a BH's job. But, Jedi were told they would be hunted. Jedi could avoid being hunted by staying off the terms. It's not that hard, I know people who stayed off the terms their whole grind Post-CU, even with group vis. Grow a pair or leave the profession.
