Thread: What is all this noise on jedi forums about group hunts?

Wow, your Lightsabre sig is by far the worst on these boards. If it wasn't for your "user of the force", i would have no fawking clue what the hell that was.

The same could be said about the BH rants we read on the Jedi forums. I said what I said based on the nature of the majority of posts i read in the Jedi forums. Do BH whine and complain...yes. But if you look, the majority of the posts are about "tactics" the Jedi use or how BH can better hunt and defeat Jedi. The Jedi forums, on the other hand, are of a nature that one would think that the vast majority of Jedi are screaming nerf to everyother profession that has some counter to a Jedi ability, affects Jedi somehow, gets something unique and fixes to their bugs, or Jedi screaming to the devs about making Jedi more than they should because the SWG Jedi isn't the "movie" Jedi they demanded. Generalizing? Yes. But show me someone who doesn't and they would be the rare case.

Stop generalizing - not all Jedi are whiny respec nubs thanks.

Not in that extreme. BH may whine about "tactics" the Jedi pull off, but Jedi whine about EVERYTHING and other professions besides BH.

You see what you want to see. You go to the Jedi forum looking for something negative, and whoa! Big Surprise! You actually found it. I shocked!
Most of what I read on this forum suggests that BH players are sick, twisted, sociopathic little twitch monkeys whose brightspot of the day isplaying a sick, twisted, sociopathic BH, and bragging about their "uber l337ness" to their fellow sociopathic twitch monkeys. Does that mean all BH players are like that? Of course not. But some are exactly that (just read some of the stuff written in this forum, especially the "Bushwacking 101" thread, but read it from the point of view of the target of that so-called "fun").
So, yes, you're going to find nerf-callers in the Jedi forum. As if that was unique. (The worst ones are those that ask for nerfs of Jedi skills.)But I've read countless whine-filled threads in this forum begging that Jedi be further gimped to makethem no more than dynamic NPCs, justsoBH's don't have to have the brains in a box of rocks to hunt, let alone fight a Jedi.
Actually.....I go into the forums with an open mind. Many times I have agreed with a post in the Jedi forums, sometimes i disagree. Im not looking for anything negative. I take for face value as the opinons of the posters and those who responded. I don't read every post trying to find something I can back here and rant about. I don't think that is constructive. And speaking of constructive, I was going to pay credence to your reply until you started with the ridiculous name calling and....dare I say it....GENERALIZING. Please, if want to retort to my posts, please do, I welcome a civilized, INTELLIGENT, debate. Just don't lower yourself in the eyes of others by resorting to the neanderthal grunts you call words when you just start insulting everyone else.

I did not generalize anything. If you could take a moment to re-read what I've highlighted you would plainly see that I said "suggests", and if you'd continued reading you would've seen the other highlighted portion where I said that I don't hold to the generalization of BH's that could be made.
The point I so obviously failed to make was that by simply reading selective posts in a forum, you could draw quite a distored picture of the content.
Perhaps next time I should use simpler language.
Actually you did right there.
But anyways, I found hard to understand your point with the name calling rants you went into. If you take that non-sense out your point will be clear. And, I found this funny, your oxy-moronic inconsistency when you used the name calling rants in your original post, and then wrote in your reply that you should use simpler language.
But after reviewing our little debat and re-reading the replies (taking out the saturation of name calling and "l33t speak", I think I understand your point. And I agree. However, I still stand by point that the MAJORITY of posts I have read...almost at random...SUGGESTS that my original finding holds true. These forums are guilty of as well, but in my opinion, not to the extent as that of the Jedi.
Sounds to me like the guild was probably a BH guild, maybe they all do nothing but hunt jedi then communicate back and forth as to what planets they are on etc.. That would be the only way I could think, I mean 3 different BH on 2 different targets from the same guild ... I've tried to pull same missions, it doesn't work and if it does no one has been able to tell me how.
I did some PVP on a player city on Tatooine, a few nights back, and everytime I went to the BH terminal 8/10 times it sent me to one of those jedi that were at this event.

Whine
Guess what?
A whine!
Oooh another!
And what's this? another whine?
A base hiding whine!
And this is only page 1-3.
actually, the first five are5 very good points as to what needs to be fixed to corectly fight jedi. and i believe since those were posted, some may have been fixed (such as jedi hiding in a house, or other jedi healing groupmates) i dont know what the last one is as i couldnt dl the picture, but, that is probably the first true bh whine ive seen...
so, 5/6 posts that you think are whines are really just bh's trying to offer good suggestions to help balance the fight between jedi and bh.
