Right now I'm Master Healer, LS 0404, Defender 4040, and Enhancer 2003.

With our last respec coming tommorow I'm considering going Master LS/Master Healer with Enhance 4004. My question is, what do you guys think about it? A friend of mine in game keeps yelling at me about not having defender, but I'm not planning on doing all that much solo...and if the defenders and tanks I'm with do their job I shouldn't have to worry about my defense.

So...whats the popular oppinion here?

Well I'm a big die hard fan of Master Light Saber. So I say go for it. However I have never been a big fan of Master Healer. With current set up you can do pretty much just as well with 4000. But you said your not doing all that much solo so Master Healer might be real good choice for a support role. As far as 4004 enhance, go for i t. FR2 is getting toggled (WOOHOO!) and channel and meditate are very nice.

Ok...I'm 4400 Def 3000 Healer 0002 Enhancer and 1101 LS and Novice Powers at the moment.

I still have my token respec. The most efficient use of my respec in terms of xp to be earned is to gain 5 more level 2 skills and to respec to MDef. I guess my real question is whether this is a viable strategy. I've taken great pains to remain off the terminals, and have thus far succeeded. I've accepted that if I get hunted by a BH, I'm likely to die, period. That'll change eventually, but I'm not there yet.

Is Mdef with all other novices a viable template to grow from? My damage and healing output will be reduced, I know, but does the increase in defenses outweigh those difficulties?

Well,I can't keep my health up and I run out of action easily even with foods.

Get some good SAC PuPs and you should be good on healing once you pick up CM4xxx.

rifles/pistols/carbines ... any of those will work with the right equipment.

Get a rifle (Adv. Laser /Trandoshan/Heavy Lighting Rifle) with a Caped SAC at 82. Add a SAC PUP ...some blob candy .... and your action will stay pretty healthy.

Any Weap with SAC @ 82-85 before SAC Pup would be good.

i havent been back long,but when ifirst respecced,i had MR/MBH/CM0400.. and i respecced out of it pretty fast.. I switched to MBH/MP/CM0400 and it's been much better, and stoppingshot owns

i went 0400 for an offensive CM build, but i'm thinkin of goin CM4000 to improve the heals, i hear its a toss up.. going to respec and test how I do w/4000 build..

from what I've heard, MCM/MBH is a little slow on the offensive side, maybe you should try carbs or pistols.. see if that helps any..

CM 4000 is excellent - before my +15 healing eff attachment, i get around 1k heals every 6 seconds - not to mention 3 different heals to choose from (area, bacta shot, bacta toss) if it really gets heated.
I did have those points in smuggler, changing to CM4000 was the best choice I ever made.

i would recommend using a template with healer 4xxx, but if any of those you have suggested, i would choose option 2,5 or 6, having just healer 2xxx just doesn't cut it, only 1k heals and basic force infusion, so if anything, drop to enhancer synergy 2, and use that for healer, that still leaves you with channel, wich is more than enough for force regen
