Not sure if it's been mentioned, but BH mission looted Reinforced Casings are presumably bugged atm, as they don't seem to drop in stacks of 6 or more.

damn, chill out both of you. I appreciate the info but really do we need to have a pissing contest like this? I mean, when it comes to weapons it is a lot of hard work and determination to collect the resources that make a weapon but in the end a monkey with resources and loot items could make the weapon you both tout on about. The weaponsmith plays near no role in the outcome of the weapon other than collecting the crap to make it. And don’t start with the BS I can see right through it. WS was my first profession and I have never given it up. Do I make the most ***insertSomeChildishAcronymHere*** weapons ever possible... no but I do work hard and have fun. Stop with the pissing and get down to details and facts. Back the facts up with intelligent conversation and we will all benefit from this thread.

seems you can't even keep pistols from rifles/carbines....let me put it this way...



-czerka dart carbine's when made well, have a min dmg of approximately 360


-czerka dart carbine's when made well, have a max dmg of approximately 770 prior to being enhanced


-czerka dart carbine's when made well, have a low end sac of approximately 76



any somewhat decent WS can cap (or come close to) SAC on ASSEMBLY

any decent player also knows casings NEVER drop in a stack of 6



know let me slowly explain:


carbines take stocks

stocks can be crafted for up to -25sac

high -sac stock + sac exp. abph + sac exp barrel will cap sac on most rifles/carbines


BUT as this is a czerka, and since casing DO NOT drop in stacks of 6 (so you need to use shards) you might not be able to do it on this one (not gonna take too many points to cap it though)


the sac capped unenhanced scatter came out

ok here we go to prove your ignorance.....



-average damage is min+max/2 and if you havent figured it out yet it determines the actual damage of your weapon.. unlike the days of old where it actually did hit randomly

-since they all have the same pre enhanced average dmg and you cannot raise the minimum dmg (and craft a decent weapon) thru enhancements....



average damage MEANS NOTHING, the damage you hit for depends on your acc vs his defense, when your acc= his defense then and only then will you hit a this avg. damage

also as you seem to think weapons need crappy sac you sure as hell can boost min damage by experimenting on damage on the comps....someone aiming for a decent, sac capped weapon however will not do this.

79 sac is not decent nor wel made you noob, no use trying to boost damage when you wont have any action to shoot it......



MINI POINT#3 - for the love of god know your weapon slice caps cuz most smugglers dont know what they are doing..and as you can see above slicing this weapon for dmg can be a total waste....ALWAYS CRIT SLICE you can do it and only it 3xs for a 10% crit chance...otherwise if you must slice for damage cap dmg then do crit and only do a speed slice if you have the customization points left after dmg is capped and you cant get another crit slice


most smugglers hate ignorant customers like you.....slices are VERY situational, there is no one single best slice you idiot....a crit slice adds appr. 2.5% damage (over a longer period of time), so in most if not all cases people will prefer speedslices


-featherweightFWG5's have a sac cap of 65, as with all pistols

-featherweightFWG5's can and should be made using advanced scopes from bh drops to make the accuracy mod even higher than 15 (defualt)

-a perfect featherweightFWG5 would be 360-966dmg (200+max dmg enhanced) sac 78-80 minus your reinforced casing enhancement


AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH PERFECT = 78-80 SAC you sure YOU are not the one finding this crap on the bazaar?

a PERFECT f FWG5 wiill be 360-966dmg, 65 sac then sliced to the speedcap, effectively tripple capping it....

depending on the WS this ccan already be done with +180 -0.79 -8sac casings


-POINT#3 featherweightFWG5's will cap at an average KINETIC damage value of 661(ish) when made to perfection with one reinforced casing of 190ish max damage but fall slightly short of of the sac cap of 65. (to cap the sac get a bigger casing or drop the dmg)

FUN FACT SET #4 (CZERKA DART CARBINE)

-czerka dart carbine's can be made using weaponsmith crafted advanced rifle stocks, therefore making capping sac extremely easy if you know what your doing

not sure if anyones mentioned this yet but the kashyykian pistol looks like a bowcaster, and any species can use it, and its kinetic with elemental damage

sac - 73

accuracy mod - 15+ (bh scope drop)

items to gather: SIX, yes SIX 170+ reinforced casing, one 15+ accuracy advanced scope drop from a bh mission and one non retarded weaponsmith


TUSKEN/BERZERKER (you pick)

average kinetic dmg - 623 (638 with a very big casing and a bh stock)(added for bloods comprehension 360-770(+150) = 360-CAP and average dmg of 623)

sac cap - 82

accuracy mod - 15+ (bh scope drop)

items to gather: one gorax bone or reinforced casing of 150+ max damage, one 15+ accuarcy advanced scope drop from a bh mission and one non retarded weaponsmith
