for really good pvp try all 3 together that is what i got goin right now and i can off a person in a matter of seconds. knockdown 3 with tk hit with head hit 3 with swordsman if they low mind and if they have a high mind pool bust out the "night club" its lights out from there. plus all the defensive bonuses from the 3 easy money

Ok, I want to start this by saying that I'm not trying to start and flames or anything like that. I've mastered doctor and I wanted to take up a melee profession. I know that swordsman is very good for PvE, but how is it for PvP? Is there any real difference between the two profession?
I want to be good and useful in PvP, an still be good at PvE. So, can anyone who has more experience than me give me the general pros and cons of both?
Which is good at PvP?
Which is good at PvE?

Swordsman owns in PVE for sure i'll ya that, you dont see too many fencers soloing Acklay lol
It depends, if you get some skill tapes, and a really good acklay bone into a power hammer
you can own a lot of people in PVP, you could own a only ranged person reallly fast if you get up close super fast, you can do like 200 to 250 to their mind with a good power hammer

personally I prefer swords in PvP, contrary to popular oppinon fencer's stun damage dosn't make much of a difference if you play at a high lvl of PvP. On Bloodfin now every PvPer has stun armor and a crate of PSGs in their back pocket, so unless you have a great stun baton (320 max and up) or really know your profession backwards and forwards I would say that 2HS is better simply for the targeted mind dmg.

Im looking to make a good all around template so I can do well in PvE and also partisipate in PvP. Im currently a master taras kasi, and Im looking for the best melee proffesion to compliment my current template with some nice dodging and blockin mods. please post your thoughts on weather I should go swordsman or fencer, and why.

I would say swordsman for PvE, just so u kno tho, the counterattack from swordsman or the block from fencer wont work while ur using TKA.

this is my current: Master Swordsman/Master Rifleman/TKA 2003/Medic 0030. works great for PvE, and Rifleman in PvP is still good.
however, i've been thinking of going all melee, and this is what i have in mind: Master TKA/Master Swordsman/Master Brawler/Fencer 3000/Medic 0040. feedback anyone?
btw, Dodge only works when you're holding a pistol or one hand weapon, and Block when holding a pike or a rifle.
